  1. Well... maybe you know how it goes.. First it is on the backlog for weeks, than the product owner decide to put it n a sprint plan, but takes some months... And before you know, it is never implemented (just kidding) Yeak, backup isn't difficult to change, but all under 1 directory make a restore easy... and yes.. I am a lazy IT admin
  2. Are the dimensions and start positions correct of your screen (how it is setup in Windows)? According to your ini file : [Display] windowwidth=480 windowheight=270 windowx=850 windowy=331 [BackGlass] width=1920 height=1080 x=0 y=0 [DMD] x=10 y=335 width=1910 height=475 Looks like your all your 3 devices are put almost on the same screen. And check the dimension of your playfield. Or is the resolution 480x270?
  3. Awesome. Can you also ask to have the loader not in user profile but in a directory by own choice? I really want to have all under c:\pinball, this makes my backup much easier
  4. Please attach your logfile and your ini file
  5. Wow ! Lot of info overhere... Away for a week and changed a lot of stuff Thanks guys for the tutorial.
  6. the launching issue was fixed by using Pinball fx3.exe as launch instead of using steam.exe
  7. Try to run pinballx as admin, run a table, play an hit the exit button. This should work
  8. Nice work @scutters!
  9. Looks nice and good way of showing info ! Do you extend the backglass in vpx on both screens ? I like the idea, but not sure if this fit in my backbox
  10. Installed 3.92. And yes .. around 2.5 seconds again !
  11. Mine is also 3 seconds delay. Was a bit quicker with the older version, but the resolution wasn't nais ...
  12. THis is the one I use : Pinball FX3.xml
  13. 3.91 looks much better. I didn't notice the quality drop in the previous version as well. But glad that Scutters has good eyes and my 4k phone did the trick. @scutters, is this looks better for you ? 20191014_124415[1].mp4
  14. Youre right @scutters. Didn't noticed that before. I think Tom lowered the resolution for speeding it up, but thats just a lucky guess from my side
  15. Checked 3.90 (man you go fast with the releases). Looks a bit the same as 3.87, but I say it is fine (Indeed slower than 1920x1080 videos) Attached a video that launched a 4k table 20191014_100256[1].mp4
  16. I can modify the gif, but that make it really large. Now I can make it 4-5mb and loads fast. Maybe if you have some time left next year, you can think about this feature. I will try 3.89 a bit later today
  17. hey Tom. Just installed 3.88. and the loading time decreased enormous . Not as fast as a HD movie, but the UHD now loads in 2 sec including the animated gif (so 2 sec of black screen, instead of 5) . For me this isn't a point that it is annoying anymore ! Is there a way (for you) to implement the location of the animated gifs ? Right now it is in the middle of the screen, maybe some people want to have it on the top and I prefer them on the bottom Again mate, Good work !
  18. Good catch @Draco1962! That this was not the steam version. I didn't noticed that. Normally the steam games are under the steam directory, but you have a "standalone" version. Right now you want to launch steam.exe but the path doesn't match to fx3 game. First try it if you can launch it from the command line (outside pinballx). Try instead of steam.exe the path to pinball fx3.exe with the parameters. This also works for the original steam version and loads a coupke of seconds faster.
  19. Can you try to run PinballX as admin and retry ?
  20. Thanks for stil using the video tool. I made this also as animated gif(transparant) and was 4 mb. Load fast, but 4k video takes arround 5 second. And the animated gif is in the middle, not at the bottom. So still use your plugin and the program to create the videos
  21. Dirty Harry 76 Frames. Looks best between 4-5 sec. DH_Dark.zip DH_Light.zip If people still uses the Video creating tool : VideoLengthMs1 = 5000 ImageMask1 = "DH_%%.png" BitRate1 = 5 Dark and Light one (specially for Scutters)
  22. Sorry guys, did'nt have time to do any checks at the cab till now. But I see that 3.85 fix the broken realDMD for me ! Thanks Tom (again !)
  23. I don't understanding your exact problem, but can you post your pbx log and ini file and your fx3 database xml as an attachment, we can have a closer look. Pkease post your log after the issue happen
  24. I tested 3.83 too. The Gif is indeed load must faster, but the image takes indeed just that too much time that it feels like nothing is happening. Edit : I tested with fullhd (1920x1080) video and those loads indeed very fast and also with animated gif of 3 mb But using a UHD (3840x2160) there is a significant extra delay when showing the screenshot
  25. Your right @BrandonLaw From 3.82 the real DMD is not showing for me too
