  1. Are you in Basic mode? Tom wanted to split the "Emulator Setup" and "Advanced Emulator Setup" into two parts and only show the "Emulator Setup" for Basic mode. I personally prefered them all on one page but I also can see how there could be too many settings for the Basic mode. Your best bet is to use Custom mode and put a tick next to "Emulator Selection", "Emulator Setup" and "Advanced Emulator Setup" when you are managing your emulators. What I may do in the future is remove the GameEx logo from the side and turn it into a menu that has all the sections available in a single click.
  2. These settings will be in the next version. If you can't wait you can download the latest version from this thread. If anyone finds another setting that is not in the SetupWizard please let me know and I'll add it in.
  3. You normally require a setting in Theme.ini for the background to animate. It should not be on by default. If you edit GameEx\THEMES\Default - Tron\Theme.ini and add the following line does it still animate? AniBak=False
  4. This should be fixed now. The Setup Wizard has had major parts of it re-written lately which is why there are so many problems arising. Appreciate your patience while these problems are ironed out. Anyway if anyone wants to have a play with the latest version before Tom puts out another update (and possibly find any bugs I can fix before then) it would be appreciated. PS You need the new SetupWizard.xml to be copied into the GameEx\CONFIG folder overwriting the old one. SetupWizard.exe goes into the root of the GameEx folder. SetupWizard.zip
  5. Working on sorting this now. EDIT: I see it's treating the radio buttons as a single group. I think it will easier just to change them to combo boxes.
  6. This problem is fixed along with most other things reported. I just have to fix the Verify bug and we should be good to go.
  7. Can you please post the details of the exception. I can't replicate this.
  8. There should be something like this in the next release
  9. Okay I've knocked up a Xebra profile and added the upload. So if possible can someone test this? Console Sony Playstation (Xebra).zip
  10. Is there any reason to still use the Advanced Config? If there is something missing from the Setup Wizard please let me know and I'll look into adding it.
  11. If you run the GameEx Setup Wizard and select it's search feature, type in "bezel" and it will show you the relevant settings.
  12. I've recently added the following new emulator profiles. [Arcade] Sammy Atomiswav (DEmul) [Arcade] Sega Naomi (DEmul) [PC] Sinclair ZX Spectrum (Spectaculator) If you have any you would like to share, please post them here. Also if you would like to request a profile for an emulator not currently in GameEx, please post it here.
  13. Thanks for checking that out for us. I've just added support to the Setup Wizard but I need Tom to tell me the maximum number of groups GX supports. EDIT: Okay next release will have 30 emulator groups in the Setup Wizard.
  14. This will be in the next release
  15. Hey guys. I'm currently working on adding ratings to the emulator profiles and I thought while I'm at it I may as well spend a bit of time adding some of the latest emulators. If you have any emulators you've added that GameEx doesn't have a default profile for please post it here. Also I seem to have misplaced the following 3 profiles. They don't seem to be in the latest GameEx install either. Has anyone got copies of these they can post? [Console] SNK Neo-Geo CD (NEOGEOCD).ini [PC] Sinclair Spectrum (RealSpec).ini [PC] Sinclair ZX81 (Eighty0ne).ini Thanks
  16. Mame Compiler has been updated with the new toolchain.
  17. Setup Wizard will support window resizing / fullscreen in the next release
  18. Updated for the latest MameUI (which has removed it's custom makefile). Website
  19. Try this with [ROMFILE] PlugInLaunch.zip
  20. Happy to add support for it but the problem is GameEx only passes certain info to the plugin. Namely [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Sequential)] public struct Game_Info { public int EmulatorNumber; public string EmulatorName; public string GameName; public string ROMPath; public string ROMName; public Database GameData; public Mame_Info MameInfo; public string ROMFilter; public string SnapPath; public string TitlePath; public string CMDLine; }; So I guess we really need a new plugin version with this field added? It might be time for a new plugin format with all the new screens and extra data added in recent versions of GX.
  21. Start->Programs->GameEx->Configuration->Plugin Manager. You can either disable the PluginLCD plugin by taking the tick off next to it or if you use it then click on it and then click Configure. Under Options 2 you have Random Speech and Random Sample. You can disable them there.
  22. Good to know the Easter Bunny is expanding out into technology. While chocolate is always strong it's good to diversify. Happy Easter everyone
  23. If you're going to install the Shark codec pack we recommend you remove ALL codecs on your system before installing it. The Shark codec pack includes the Haali Splitter so there must have been some conflict with a previous install. Glad you got it sorted in the end!
  24. First thing I would try is running The Intel® Driver Update Utility and make sure you have all the latest drivers installed.
