  1. Well thanks for the advice. Im affraid your suggestions have led to no avail. Ill try another front end. You have to remember though its not the games that are running slow. They go great its the front end's menus that are running all choppy, blurry and 1 fps. It probably is a driver but they havent released any new ones.
  2. No problem I understand the minimum system requirements when I took a look. Its just puzzling after seeing someone else's success with the same system. I guess the other thing I should make mention of is the graphical errors im encountering as well. I included a screen shot of game ex in light game selection mode. Id like to argue drivers too but I have the latest direct x and video drivers. Appreciate the help so far Draco GameExConfig.txt Log File.txt
  3. Only the on board video. Yeah its the right one [EDIT] Just surprised that the games I want to run are fine but the program used for selecting them is so slow. I watched a guy on Youtube make an nes pc (stealth edition) without a video card and it ran game ex fine. Same mobo.
  4. Hi guys, Ive combed the options advanced setup menus and the forums themselves and I cant seem to find an answer. Ive even tried going back to find older versions of game ex(10.80) which didnt use direct 3d but direct draw but to no avail either. My issue is that im getting probably 1 - 2 fps with Game Ex's menu system. My nes, Sega, Mame emulators run fine and fast. Metal Slug 3 runs fine and dandy on mame along with a variety of other cpu hungry mame games. No problems on running any of the emulators. But with game ex it doesnt matter which options I choose(v sync, lite version with games only) it just CRAWLS. This isnt the game that crawls its the menus within game ex. Im running game ex on a D201GLY2 intel micro itx mother board stuffed inside of an nes. Processor is a Celeron 220 at 1.2 ghz and a gig of ram. 160 gb hd space. Win XP. .netframework 4(tried 2 as well). Direct x 9.0c
