First things first.....If you can hear the sound then maybe ZiNc isn't loading fullscreen? Maybe try running GameEx in windowed mode just to test and see if that's an issue.

It's just a matter of finding the correct process. The easiest solution would be to redump these images and not use the ape extension for audio files. Past that it's hard to give support on such a subject because if this can't be done then it's because of the use of illegal content. Another may be of more use but that's the only support I personally will give on such a subject. PM Sent!

Mine are black. Yes I agree. Support will be overlooked if put in this subforum. I personally won't be looking too much into general chat when it builds up. Unless Tom creates a subforum for emulator support then it's best to have there since it is related to making an emulator work in GameEx.

The emulator doesn't support that audio format so yes they will need to be converted but there may be problems when converting. Try converting to a known working format or redump using a known technique. Information about this issue can be found searching APE file in PSX emulator through google. Those topics will not be linked here because of some of it's content and it breaking rules of the forums.

That could get ugly as there would be way too many subforums. Maybe split them up by category like Arcade, Console, Handheld, PC, etc. But even that could get out of control. But yes, an emulator support subforum would be good as it would keep those questions separate from GameEx support questions.

What naming convention are your roms named? I guess it's time we supply these as this has been an issue for some. The reason I never did is because different users have their roms named in a different format.

Isn't it though? LOL. It was starting to look like there were more pinned topics than regular topics. Always having to look on the 2nd page to see what users needed support. Then Tempest did clean up and you unstickied a few. Then it started to grow again. LOL.

Nestopia is the one i've noticed as of late. I've seen about 3-4 occurrences. There may have been another but would have to find the topic. As far as the database, I haven't looked into it as I don't use it anyways. I always just setup my emulators on a fresh/new setup. I never import as I find I have to change lots of the info anways (i.e. paths, settings, etc.). Here's 2 other topics where I remember it happening where I gave support. Here and here.

Hell man! I'm doing back flips. LOL. I've been wanting this for a long time. Just hated seeing so many darn pinned topics with user submissions when they could have just been merged or something. Tom took my advice. Hope it's a good thing.

Set Show Desktop to No in Emulator Setup!

Whooohoooo. We have subforums. Now there is a little structure to our forums. Thanks to the admin who added them. Now we have less clutter and now all pinned topics are not taking up the whole forum. I got what I wanted and am happy about that.

I think merging with another thread is a good idea but not pinning it as we have way too many pinned topics as is. Some of them need to be merged together. I wish we had subtopics to better organize things.

It's exactly that it doesn't exist. I have been seeing this lately. Not sure where this nestopia_loader is being generated from. That's why I never use the import feature. To get nestopia to work, the command-line is simply: nestopia.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"
