  1. Are you having problems running CDI images directly? Why convert anyways?
  2. Not sure but this came up using search.
  3. Perhaps Tom is not at his system right now to accept. Try hosting a game and I'll try to connect to test for you.
  4. I don't see why that would cause issues. I'd have to test that for myself. Will plug in my x-arcade later to test for you but won't be able to do that till much later. Go to chat room!
  5. Testing out of GameEx should work. Load your rom and then hit ALT+Enter. Meaning hold the alt key and press enter.
  6. Who's hosting the game? I don't see any users at this time. The host has to accept for you to connect.
  7. Config >>> Game Pad >>> Joy 1 (Depending on which system you wanna setup) >>> Set keys (pretty self-explanatory)
  8. A script could be used but isn't required. Simply just put %{ENTER} in the Keys To Send setting in the Emulator Setup section of configuration. May have to tinker with the Wait Before Keys setting, depending on your system.
  9. Yes it does! But there isn't a fullscreen parameter. The best solution would be to just use send keys to send Alt+Enter.
  10. The thing is we all really need to be around to be testing as it's hard to do from just posting in this thread. We need to know before when the user can host or play. I wish users used the chat room more. Then could go from there.
  11. Since different games require different controls for these emulators, it's best to setup individually. There are ways of setting them up though if don't wanna go through that process. You can setup one game and then copy that file to all the roms you wish to have input for (i.e. Say you setup Behind Enemy Lines, after configuring that rom just copy the bel.input file to all the other rom's input files in the cfg directory). Could also just map the keys using GameEx's Advanced Config Editor and map your keys to the default ones used in the emulator. Bare in mind that it will all require tweaking for different roms but should at least save you from doing each individually.
  12. The new version of Demul doesn't require a loader. And which loader are you referring to? This can make things confusing to our users as it's already been posted in this topic.

    rom question

    No problem.
  14. Thanks for the fix guys. Is very useful to the community for users who have this issue.
  15. Correct! If you don't have the image then it won't be displayed with the gamecard. Example here. I changed settings for you to see what I mean. To put in signature: Click on your username on top right of forums Select My Settings Click Profile tab Click Change Signature On Edit Signature section, Click on insert image button Insert Image URL, the one given to you when setting it up (i.e. http://www.gameex.com/gamecard/fRequEnCy.png)

    rom question

I see that you posted in the clrmamepro forums as well and still didn't get the fix? LOL. Well here ya go.......Are you sure you're pointing to your 7z.exe in your settings? If not then that would explain the error. In clrmamempro: Click on settings button Click on Compressor... button Click on 7Z tab Enter location of 7z.exe into editbox (in my case, C:\Program Files\7-zip\7z.exe) Click OK button Retry to rebuild again
  17. Well that's the link to it to show you how it looks. Depending what you want to do with it......Some users are putting it in their signatures which is why they're on the screen. So the question is....What do you want to do with it?

    rom question

    Yes. Very familiar.

    rom question

Yes. Maybe applying the filter didn't work cuz the rom names were cached. Probably best to delete the map file of that emulator to refresh the list to verify cuz like I said, it worked for me when I tested for you before posting.

    Game crashes

No problem. Glad you got it sorted out and thanks for posting the solution for users that may run into the same issue.

    rom question

LOL. No problem. That would have been the easiest solution. I tend to want to keep my romsets intact which is why I either use filters or use custom map files to list only what I want. I'm into any game. I've been a gamer since a child. To the point where I even competed locally in tournaments so I'm down to play whatever when it comes to games. For other users who had this question....are they single roms in those 7zip files? Or multiple ones like goodmerged? Trying to figure out why it didn't work for you doing that.

    Game crashes

Sorry. I guess I should have been more specific. What you need to do is troubleshoot with Step 4B. I don't know what the results of your window is so you need to do that in order to see the error given when running those games. If you need help then post the results or take screenshot of the results.
  23. fRequEnCy

    rom question

Well that could be one way of doing it. What naming convention are your roms? USA is the filter for no-intro. If it's goodmerged then it would be U. So in turn USA would not work for goodset romset. I gave an example and also stated that it depends on the naming convention. The info I gave does work with the no-intro set as I tested. I just need more info.
  24. fRequEnCy

    rom question

Well depending on the naming convention of your roms the following will give you some idea of how to list only USA roms or others based on your search criteria. Just enter the following in the Rom Filter setting in Emulator Setup: *USA*.zip
