    Game crashes

If it runs outside of GameEx then it should run inside as well. I'm sure it's something simple. Please troubleshoot by following step 4 of Tempest's guide found here. Using the runitgame.bat file will help in determining why it's not loading those roms.
  2. LOL. I'm sure I would have been harder on you.
  3. LOL. I had remembered something about it which is why I knew to search. But yes, ALWAYS SEARCH! Ultimate GameEx Guru my a$$! LMAO. JK
  4. Maybe this thread may be of use?
  5. Nice. Thanks for the contribution. Glad you got it all figured out. . No toes stepped on at all. I will look into it and repost in the submissions page so it won't be lost.
  6. demul.exe -run=atomiswave -rom=[ROM] I guess it would be good to make map files based off the system instead of the whole emulator. I'll look to see if there's an easy way of doing so. If not then I'll just do by hand since doesn't seem like it's that many. As far as it not running on your laptop....is that the system you had working outside of GameEx?
  7. Ok. That looks correct. And you setup the path to the roms in Demul? Try running in debug mode in GameEx or simply from command-line as I don't see why it's not working. I tested and works fine on my end.
  8. Which rom are you trying to load? Also please post your emulator config for that emulator. Go to the chat room so we don't have to go back and forth in just the forums.
  9. No. Map file will just give it the friendly name to be displayed in GameEx. It is always required to run the rom the way the emulator itself requires it. Also......MAME would run it as mame.exe [ROM] so that is different than what you posted. And that's of course if a mame.ini file is used or else it would require more parameters.
  10. Well that would be the reason. To run naomi roms then try the following: demul.exe -run=naomi -rom=[ROM]
  11. Well that's a good sign. Means all is working as far as the emulator is concerned. What is your command-line?
  12. Give me a few to troubleshoot since I haven't setup this emulator yet. Are you running outside of GameEx? Any errors? Does it just stall? Please give more info.
  13. New map file on submissions page. Changes include removal of bios files. What's not working? The map file or the emulator?
  14. Actually give me a few cuz I noticed I did not remove the bioses in this version. Sorry. I just had whipped it out too quick. There will be a revised one in a few.
  15. Here ya go DJ Infinity.
  16. Maybe this?
  17. Maybe GameEx is entering this information when an update is made? Not sure. LOL. Well there's 2 reports of it now. I'll check with Tom. That's why it's a good idea to compare with your GameEx.ini backup file (GameEx_UpgradeBackup) found in the CONFIG directory of your GameEx install.
  18. Deja Vu! I thought this looked familiar. Look here. Not sure where users are generating this information from.
  19. Perhaps the issue is because of the command-line: Command=""[APP]\Loaders\Nestopia_Loader.exe" "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"" This is showing that the loader is in your loaders directory of your GameEx install. Is this correct? Because Nestopia doesn't require a loader. The command-line should simply be: nestopia.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" If that's not the problem then please run in debug mode so you can see the output of the window and find out why it won't run.
  20. Just tested and all is working fine here. Please verify emulator config to verify nothing got overwritten. If so then you can always restore the gameex.ini backup file. If all else fails then please post your emulator config.

    .X files

I've been playing around with it. I might start coming up with something. There are consoles available already that other people have done but don't know how that would would as far as releasing with GameEx. Better if it is done in house. So hopefully we have a few artists out there that will start popping up and contributing.
  22. This was just posted by Tom. It's a plugin. May be of use.

Thanks for the logo ehuonder. It's a great addition to GameEx.

    Zinc issues....

LOL. That's what I did too. Still not perfect though as there's 71 roms in a ZiNc set.
