  1. The executable should be FPLoader.exe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Make sure all exe are set to run as administrator and all dll are unblocked Make sure all programs are installed in non-protected folders (do NOT install any of these programs in folder "Program Files"). Do not play pinball along with any processes that you absolutely do not need to play pinball (close your browser, etc.) In the table settings for the specific table you are running make sure all settings are "default" Try running PinballX in full screen, windowed mode Set NVidia settings to default and use VPX to assign postfx AA Try running VPX with Vsync on. Try disabling playfied reflections Try disabling ambient occlusion Try running VPX with AA and/or Elements Detail Level dialed back a bit from the max, lower resolution, etc.
  3. What's a fluidity?
  4. You configure for an X360 controller within Pinball FX2's settings. You navigate to the Settings menu through PinballX's in-game menu. The x360ce executable goes in the same folder as the PinballFX2 executable. Run it and download the FX2 profile. You can change buttons and adjust axes in the config menu. You will have to play around and do trial and error to figure things out. I have no idea how VPCabs currently maps buttons to the controller. They used U-Hid boards when I got my cabinet from them years ago. I'd be surprised if they didn't give you a map or an app. In any case, keep searching and reading through the forums for x360ce, the posts would be pretty old but should still be useful.
  5. 1. There is no built-in support for PBX to run intro videos on all 3 monitors. That said, where there is a will there is a way. It would involve custom scripts that get launched at PinballX start up and an external media player like vlc. This would be an exercise for you to complete. I'm not interested at all. Intro video just takes more time to get to playing pinball! 2. Try setting database hideDMD tag to False. I don't know that it will work. Best chance is if the transition of focus from PinballX to emulator involves absolutely no changes in screen orientation or resolution. If you are using VPX you may not be able to use exclusive full-screen mode. If you can't get PinballX to display the video at all then you may need to get very familiar with the B2S Designer tool. Future Pinball never had it's own support for a third screen, so there aren't any other options there.
  6. Been a long time since I installed. At that time there was a profile available to download through the x360ce config menu which provides plunger and analog nudging support.
  7. FPLoader should be in your BAM folder. You need to point your Working Path to the BAM folder.

    Aliens

    Yes, please do.
  9. I've been using this grey area legal-ish version of CS2 for awhile. I mostly use Illustrator but I'm pretty sure that there is a Dot Matrix plug-in somewhere that should work with Photoshop even though this version is old. It's good enough for what we do. https://petapixel.com/2013/01/07/adobe-may-be-offering-a-free-and-legal-download-of-creative-suite-2/ I can edit this post if this is objectionable.
  10. Anything is possible. All kinds of custom advanced features can be scripted and launched on PinballX start up, but this particular task you are on your own. Startup video just takes time away from playing pinball! I never use it.
  11. Hmm, I think that there is a built-in filter in Photoshop. If it's just images, I don't see that you need some special software.
  12. The link is right there is Draco's signature:
  13. I too tend to install only the software needed to operate the cabinet and nothing else. But I do keep Nividia Experience installed as that is the avenue for checking and receiving driver updates. I don't think that there is a way to not install Shadowplay, but it can definitely be disabled. Windows game mode stuff pops up for TPA and FP, a prompt to do CTRL+G to capture screens when the application starts. I just learned to ignore it. It is not too obtrusive for me. It may seriously annoy others that are really into shelling Windows.
  14. If you have updated Windows 10 recently to the Creators Update version, you may have to tweak its Game Mode. I think that MS has added built-in capture and streaming. Or else it is Nvidia Shadowplay which you can adjust or disable using NVidia Experience. The mic icon is the clue. It's not a PinballX issue at all. There is some online Gamex support that allows you to fill your signature with the table you played last, but there is no capture or streaming that I'm aware of. I always keep that feature disabled anyway.
  15. Try using the LAV filters that are linked on the PinballX home page
  16. It's not like there is camera tuning for PinballFX2. One video looks like another for the most part. I just use the ones that were uploaded to the FTP. Because DMD videos were often not getting included on the FTP. I did write this capture script for myself. It is not automated like PBXRecorder or my ports of PBXRecorder for FP and Unit3D. This was done before Zen added better cab support. I have a newer version of this script that at least is no longer looking for a separate child window for the DMD which was hanging up the script that I am linking to. If you are interested in it great. If not, I've uploaded my captures to the FTP. I think that I'm just missing a couple that I have not gotten around to capturing yet because my cab crapped out.
  17. It probably is a bad xml file somewhere in your database folder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I don't know what your parameters look like. If you just need an example script you can look at mine. I haven't really put it to the test though. I hardly ever run TPA and I'm considering just dumping it because I need the space for better stuff. This would be something that I run as a custom system. I don't use the integrated support. dc2 is the program I use for rotating the display prior to launching FCM. Good luck. LaunchTPA.ahk
  19. Using the Settings Wizard -> Display Settings page, try setting "Auto position DMD" to "No". In fact, if you intend on manually adjusting your DMD and B2S backglass then you want to disable any of the autopositioning that PinballX attempts to do.
  20. You can use the alternateexe tag in the xml to merge your different VP systems into one database which then requires only a single set of media. Or You can assign symbolic links to point media folders for alternate VP systems to a main media folder: http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/linkshellextension.html
  21. I don't know. I don't use Game Manager. I prefer to collect and generate my own media manually from a number of pinball-related websites rather than rely only on what is in the FTP. You can access the FTP with an FTP client or Windows Explorer and copy and paste multiple files into your media folders. Assuming your database is structured using the rom set name as your game name tag then getting things functional for a MAME system within PinballX should be pretty quick and easy.
  22. Oh, and of course you can always set up a second Future Pinball system in the Settings Wizard Custom System window. Move the tables that don't require FutureDMD to the second xml. On the second system, do not launch FutureDMD prior to launching Future Pinball. This solution requires you to keep up with two Future Pinball databases. Without other measures, it would also require setting up two sets of media.
  23. It is possible to have PinballX selectively launch FutureDMD based on database xml tags if you are willing to code an Autohotkey script to do what you want. The source code for LaunchVP.exe provides an example that you can use based on the supplementary xpath functions (also included in the zip file). Another example that you can use to code a solution is PBXRecorder.
  24. DDH69's DOFLinx project brings directb2s event-driven, active backglass support for cabinets running Pinball FX2. Will be available very soon: Backglasses for 11 tables are already available for download. http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=38235#entry382463
