  1. Converted the latest ShorYukenToTheChin table guides to Flash. Uploaded to the FTP (Instruction Cards under #open6l) Zen - Sorcerer's Lair (UPDATED) Doom Fallout Skyrim Star Wars - Rogue One
  2. Add "Zaccaria Pinball" as a system in the Other Systems screen in the Settings app. Assign System Type as Custom. Point the executable path to the launcher. Use "Zaccaria Pinball.xml" as your database file as-is. At least, don't change the game name tags as these are what the Zaccaria Pinball program calls the different tables. Launch parameter = [TABLEFILE] The launcher is specific to my particular configuration. I use the command line driven app Display Changer II to rotate my playfield monitor to portrait and antimicro to map my buttons to keys. The source code is included so it can be adjusted to fit users' needs. The code for the script that launches Zaccaria is LaunchZaccaria.ahk. If you use the database file as-is and without modifcation, "Zaccaria Pinball.xml", then the script will launch the correct table. That's it.

    Aliens

If those games are listed in Game Manager then it would be under the Pinball FX system. If not then you will have to add those games to your database manually. Fortunately, I have an up to date database file. Just replace your existing one with this one. You can open the file in Notepad and change the enabled tag to True or False according to tables that you have bought and want to add to the wheel. Media is on the PinballX FTP. Pinball FX2.xml
  4. Where did the table audio come from? Do they play correctly outside of PinballX? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This is a stripped version of a script previously posted on this site. I don't recall from who, and most of it is commented out now that Pro Pinball has cab support. There is actually not much to it anymore. Antimicro is the program I use to map gamepad buttons to keys. Another thing to check is that the correct launch parameters are invoked for Pro Pinball within Steam. I recall a time or two when those were mysteriously cleared on a client update. LaunchPPU.ahk
  6. Sure. But my script has nothing to do with OpenGL. Well, neither does PinballX for that matter. If it doesn't play outside of PinballX then you can't expect PinballX to fix it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I use PBX to launch an AutoHotkey script. I have the Steam version. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Don't know. Maybe you need to uninstall and re-install Pro Pinball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Sorry, those newer Haunted House sets are currently non-working. PinMAMEdev does not have the speech code that was created for the mod by the flipprojets team. Maybe later. For now, I would use the rom set that the table author has referenced in the script. That way you can be sure that it will play correctly. I seem to recall reading that somebody was looking at HH for a VPX upgrade, but I don't know. Best thing to do to jump start interest in a new project you want completed is to collect a lot of very high quality images of the playfield and plastics. Or redraw them if you are handy with a graphics program. Good resources are the biggest hurdle to getting tables upgraded.
  10. 300 tables! I add one at a time cause I can only play one at a time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm not sure why that would cause a crash. That looks like valid xml code to me. If you really want this to match the table name as it is known in IPDB, an alternate would be Chicago Cubs &#34,Triple Play&#34, (Gottlieb 1985) and maybe that would work better. If you don't care about matching the IPDB exactly then Chicago Cubs Triple Play (Gottlieb 1985), same as the game name tag, would definitely work. How far you go to identically match the IPDB depends on how much of a stickler you are for these things.
  12. I would start by making sure all exe files related to your setup (this includes both VP and PinballX) are set to run as administrator. Many users install VP and PinballX in the root of C: drive rather than Program Files to overcome issues related to User Access Control. Also, make sure all dll files are unblocked. There are a lot of dll files. Easiest thing might be to uninstall VP and PinballX. Copy the installers somewhere to your C drive. Make sure the installers are unblocked and set to run as administrator. And then re-install this time with file locations in the root of C drive rather than in C:\Program Files (x86)\ This may be the solution for you, but if not then it at least it rules out issues related to Windows UAC.
  13. What@Draco1962 is saying is that if you haven't invested any money in PBA yet then you are far better off investing those hours of time getting Visual Pinball working. VP is hands down a better experience especially for cab players. And it is free of charge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edit: not really trying to denigrate PBA. It's good for my iPad.
  14. I've reattached the zip file with the launcher and modified PBXRecorder in the first post. Sorry about the backglasses, but none of that is my work. Please ask Nudnick to repost. Let me know if he does, and I will post an updated link. Thanks.
  15. Are you running VPX and VPPhysMod5 as administrator? If you already are, then create a new post under General. This seems weird.
  16. PinballX has nothing to do with saving nvram. Are you talking about saving scores to an online leaderboard?
  17. No, I don't think so. Just consider it all VP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Use the alternateexe tag in your VisualPinball.xml Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Config files are included in the latest package:
  20. I don't know if it will make a difference but I don't use the /arcaderender in my configuration I have the parameter field looking like this: /STAYINRAM /open "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" /play /exit I don't know if your buttons act as keys or gamepad/joystick buttons but you will want to make sure that there are no conflicts with FP.
  21. Yes. Any VPX tables installed will have to be rotated 0 degrees. Usually, tables are published rotated 270 deg so that setup with Pinball X will be compatible with VP9 tables. But, it's always user's choice. Set things up how you like it. PinballX is usually pretty accommodating.
  22. Read through the info at pin2dmd.com. Follow the links. It's DIY if you want it to be. Schematics are in the project github repository. There are a number of people who are building pin2dmd shields for a more plug-and-play solution. You generally speaking have to provide the LED panels yourself, alibaba.com. But you probably could get the panels at VirtuaPin if you wanted a US-based vendor.
  23. http://pin2dmd.com/ In fact, it is the non-commercial pin2dmd team that wound up coding in the full color support that the for-profit pindmd v3 was missing and never found the time or resources to construct. If you are playing full color Stern roms using a pindmd v3 kit it is the pin2dmd team you should be thanking for that. It is also the pin2dmd team that has the image editor and ongoing colorization projects. Not much support on the software or firmware side from VirtaPin is what I'm saying. And it is neither the cheapest or best in market solution. That said, if you are using a mini-cab and simply can't make room for a full size DMD, you would have to resort to a small monitor. I'm not aware of LED panels that are supported and are smaller than what these products are currently supporting..
  24. Or use a video editor and mux in the audio track.
