I wonder whether it may be worth waiting until the new GameEx has been released? Not sure, but there might be an updated theme editor as well.... just hate for time wasted if new version has more bells/whistles or compatibility considerations.

OK - after some brutally honest feedback in byoac forums, seirously thinking about changing my designs. Some good points about the sideart looking knocked together and my marquee looking too busy. So redesign - would appreciate any feedback. This artwork bit is proving to be a real headache! (These are mockups with bitmaps. Final versions vectorised) And some experimental side art: Dunno whether to go with or without the xenomorph on the side. Think I prefer without, but seems a shame not to include it. Thought about one side with, one side without, but would feel a little unbalanced. Feedback welcomed as really wanna draw a line under this!!

I delved into these dark arts few months ago, uber - exactly same thing as you - trying to get PC to handle PCSX2 and Dolphin. However, mine was on an intel chip and not an AMD, so don;t know much about OCing AMDS. I'm imagining it's the same process, though. In the end, best results were not from software approaches to OC, but from slowly raising values in the bios (raise > benchmark > raise upon success) your best bet is overclockers.net/org or whatever it is. Good search, cos large differences between approaches for different chips. Key things to consider: FSB; Multiplier; Voltage. Oh.. and temperature

Then prompted with same screen with "recover" option (I;m guessing login failiur?) Also, tried going down the password recovery option - but doesn't seem to work (also not very clear - do you just type in your email? How about manuals? Are EmuMovies doing them?? Custom instruction cards for games? Go nicely with a second monitor and GameExtender/Info Dino what's coming in GEEvo, but game specific animations or music? (can you do the music thingy already?) possibilities are endless!!

On this topic - null - I saw you play Rocksmith. I checked out the promo vid for this and it looks awesome in theory. Play guitar here and wondering if it's as good in real life as it looks! Then to deliberate whether I put it on my xbox360... or in my cab! (I think that's prob a no brainer)

I'd be interested in your approach, Dazzler. Whilst PCSXLunch works great - there is only one problem. When you upgrade your version of PCSX2 and plugins - I think you have to re-do all your settings all over again! I'm just wondering if with your method there's a workaround for the above problem. Recognize it'd be a lot of typing, but care to share?

Oh dear. That'll teach me to rant! For free can't beat gimp and inkscape. Despite rant, inkscape is very good. It does crash occasionally when working on very large files e.g 32 pass bitmap to vector conversions. So one fundamental tip - enable auto save. Its not enabled by default. Considering is free I would commend it. Oh. And screenshot captor for screen grabs.

Whoa. I've been working on this off and on for the past 4/5 months. It was just this weekend that I decided to knuckle down and get this finished. Innit funny how the stars align sometimes?
