  1. I really dont know, but if your using hacked drivers, its something i cant help out with unless i can trace this down to a bug in GameEx. but can you post the log so we can determine if it is actually the same issue? in addition try version 8.00 EDIT: It is possible to disable all the extra crap.
  2. 6th April, 2007 - GameEx 8.00 Fixes Karaoke Fixes track navigation not working in slideshow Fixes two launching emulator stability issues, that address a windows error and gameex closing (not showing gameex log) Fixes and improved m4a audio support Updated model 2 loader script by Ben Baker for latest version of the emu New "Emulator Groups" feature. This allows several emulators to be in one list Fixes show info page setting for emulators New emulator setting to not have an emulator launched from random game, and not display in most played. Useful if you've set up an emulator to launch a comic viewer or picture viewer etc Emulator also launch setting now allows passing of GameEx variables such as [ROMDIR] and [ROMFILE] For registerd users: CD/DVD support. GameEx can check for CDs and prompt for insertion. Allowing protected retail games to be integrated into the front end, and allowing access to offline content. Fix to autoupdate. Will no longer reset language back to English Happy easter and thank you for all your continued encouragment and support. Enjoy!
  3. Truy the actual ATI drivers from ATI.com. The Asus drivers on there site are probably ancient.
  4. Have you got the latest ATI drivers installed I seem to recall this issue before, and installing latest drivers solved it.
  5. Sounds like your using File Tag mode instead of WMP mode. Anyway M4A's will be functioning in the next release in flie tag mode. Probably today.
  6. Set the use flat menus option.
  7. Please post entire log. Also does it work with either the Media Center or MCE glossy theme. You can set this in the setup wizard or advanced configuration. Please confim, and post the whole log. thanks. Tom

  9. Hi, I think this is a bug in GameEx. Ill get a fixed version out shortly.
  10. Yes, so: c:\winipac\winipac.exe c:\winipac\profiles\ssf.ipc May become "c:\program files\winipac\winipac.exe" "c:\program files\winipac\profiles\ssf.ipc" (normally you need to put quotes around file locations that contain spaces)
  11. You can create a MNG in MAME/32. There is a key that does it but cant remeber what.
  12. 25th March, 2007 - GameEx 7.98 Small maintenance release Fixes MAMEseries when games in list start with open bracket MAME series list update faster Fixes screensaver not running after updating MAME list
  13. Fixed in 7.98 go get it
  14. Hi, I see the problem. This is a bug in GameEx. Will be fixed in next release. Cheers.
  15. Hi, are you using the latest version of GameEx, and the latest version of history.dat (or the one included with GameEx). Pleast post your log.
  16. I assume you also tried adjusting the setting there for load speed?
  17. It does the same thing as Benson's util but just does it on the fly via the MAME cmd line. It only affects MAME. You can make Gameex run at 640 X288 or 640 X 264 by setting the resolution as such.
  18. Hi Chong, it may be the feature that finds snaps on a best match basis, this searches folders. You can turn that off, and also make sure you dont have the create snaps on thread option enabled (or use the latest version which no longer has this feature). Thanks. Tom
  19. your breaking the forum rules. do it again and ill have to suspend you.
  20. OK, Ill bear it in mind. Make sure your running a recent version of GameEx though, because it did in fact used to be bigger on the screen.
  21. It works fine for me. Its likely because you have a blank entry somewhere. If you still cant figure it out post your gameex.ini and Ill take a further look.
  22. Not at the moment, but please explain your reasoning why you need this. Thanks. tom.
  23. Should all be fixed in 7.97.
  24. Im out of ideas then other than ty 7.96
  25. Did you try the latest ATI drivers? there was a similar problem and it resolved it.
