  1. You dont import it. Make sure the the file is in C:\Program Files\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS The in the advanced configuration menu look for the setting that says "Advanced Config" for the emulator you have set up to run sensible soccer. Then select the config from the drop down
  2. Actually looking at your log, it looks like most of the time is taken up closing media center and initialising your video card. So it could be a video card issue. Is the startup ok if you dont launch GameEx from Media Ceter?
  3. The issue was only reported once. GameEx definitly does not sit there waiting for a connection or anything daft like that. 99.99% have no problem with GameEx not being connected to the internet. So sorry I have no ideas, that was only just a real longshot.
  4. It deffinitly does seem slow then if its registered. It starts up in about 4 seconds for me. I dont know why, but I think I heard of a slow startup issue occuring when GameEx could not connect to the internet properly. Could that be an issue?
  5. Ill add an option to start with GameEx next release, but I think its better as it is showing all images. Is the issue fixed where it would not fit on the secondary display properly?
  6. The log appears to show that its taking 30 seconds to initialize. So Im not entirely sure whats going on at the moment. Is your version registered? If its not theat timing could be right. Are you saying this is due to the upgrade? the validation of the emulators, should happen after gameex has actually started. It does this as soon as it needs to access an emulator, but after its loaded.
  7. I actually think its a long running bug in MAME. I have it turned on on my cab. It works much better when its on if you have an AVGA hooked up to a JPAC, as it doesnt support VSYNC. I actually use these command line options instead: -triplebuffer -audio_latency 3 -samplerate 22050
  8. Yes they do work. You need to set up GameExtender for it to work. It sends images over a network connection, so you can see artwork for a game and gameex on another pc or secondary display. If Speech isnt working then you probably need to install the components on windows. I think you can download them from MS.
  9. Can you post your log and gameex.ini Thanks.
  10. There should be a menu option there in GameEx to create avi snaps. If your not seeing the option may be disabled in the config. Also the option does not show when using emulator groups, so you will have to temporarily take the emulator out of the group, and access the menu item when its running as a normal emulator. Tempest: GameEx can do this in the registerd version.
  11. Are you looking at the ini files in C:\Program Files\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS in notepad Do you not see this? #Additional processes to wait to exit or close on exit. Dont include the .exe. Leave blank not to use. Process1= Process2= Process3= Process4=
  12. Ill fix that.
  13. Thanks for the info HK..
  14. This is related to your keyboard. GameEx is failing trying to initialise input on your keyboard. Although I dont know why. Maybe its a wireless keyboard or something and a driver needs to be loaded before GameEx is run?
  15. Just to explain why its flicking its because as its using a loader, gameex thinks the game has finished as explained in the FAQ, so GameEx is showing back up again and both apps are trying to draw to the screen at the same time. The configs are located in c:\program files\config\emulators Go here with windows explorer, and create a copy of one of the existing ones. You then edit this in notepad. Save it, and select it in for the emulator in the configuration utilities. What exactly dont you understand, so I can help better? Thanks. Tom.
  16. It was a good request and seemed to make sense, but I actually like most played better as it is for now, sorry.
  17. I could add it to gameex, but it will add on extra file checks and searching, which could slow things down. Thats why it does not do it. Here is how to rename. I think yourll find .jpeg is rarely used, as it generally breaks file naming convention rules. Click Start > Run > CMD Type the drive letter the snape are on followed by colon. eg c: type CD "Path to box art". eg. CD "C:\emulators\atari 5200\box" Type: rename *.jpeg *.jpg

  19. Your wish is greanted Ge the latest release.
  20. Your really wasting your time and ours, we cant help, and this is not really the correct place to ask anyway. PM'ing me, and keeping posting is just wasted effort. Does look like a good game though, dont think Ive ever seen it in an arcade.
  21. I personally dont know if it will or not, as Im not able to test in that environment. What I do know though and I think this is correct, is that you cant shell a 32 bit application on 64 bit.
  22. This is fixed in 0.91, now available. Thanks for letting me know,
  23. Thanks for the information, I didnt know. Ill make sure it gets addressed.
  24. 24th April, 2008 - MAME Screensaver 0.90 No longer requires admin privileges. Works on Vista with user account control turned on. Installs properly on 64 bit Windows. If upgrading you will need to configure and update list again.
