  1. Hey, Could you please try deleting data\gamelist.txt then do another update? I thought this was a fixed issue but I guess not. Thanks. Tom.
  2. It should work I think if GameEx is windowed. Please try that.
  3. If you build it they will come In other words if a collection is provided or can be obtained I will do it.

    FTP

Hi, FTP access and online options are not free features for people who purchased GameEx before August 2013. Thanks. Tom.
  5. Could you post a screenie please? Also, Zip/7Zip support is a registered feature. Do you have a key? Thanks. Tom.
  6. Hi, I think this is an popup message from "MAME" rather than GameEx. What version of MAME are you using? Also standard protocol here is to include your gameex log file and gameex.ini file. Thanks. Tom
  7. Hi, There was an issue wuth this but I thought it was resolved in recent versions. Did you update the MAME game list with the latest version? Could you please do that and provide the log for that session. It can be turned off via the ini as far I know. I will look for you. Cheers. Tom.
In response to @kesoex Thanks for posting the review. Appreciate it. Your right there is no configuration option to change the path to GameEx right now although I just wanted to post a workaround for folks who don't mind getting their hands a little dirty. 1. Paste the following into the explorer address bar or run (hold down windows key then r). %appdata%\Kodi\addons\script.games.gameex\resources\__init__.pyo 2. Choose to associate and open with notepad if it does not open in your text editor. 2. Use Edit Menu > Replace and replace C:\gameex with your alternate gameex locatation such as c:\gameex arcade edition 3. Save the file and close notepad. 4. Paste the following into the explorer address bar or run (hold down windows key then r). %appdata%\Kodi\addons\script.games.gameex\resources\__init__.py 5. Same as step 2 but use two slashes. so C:\\gameex -> c:\\gameex arcade edition 6. Save the file and close notepad. 7. Enjoy!
  8. 1. Completely uninstall any existing codecs (if any). 2. Install this: 3. Update the MAME list.
  9. Ignoring it should be okay. The installer itself does not write much to the ini. Although there is obviously an underlying issue on your system which I am thinking really is completely irrelevant to GameEx as I've never heard or seen this issue.
  10. New one to me. Have you tried uninstalling and then deleting the entire folder?
  11. Yes although the option is a bit depreciated now and will only work for MAME when setup as a custom emulator and when in directdraw or GDI mode. The option is available is a menu item (create snaps). If its not showing up it may not be supported by your theme or might be disabled. Again, it is a custom emulator option and not mame specific.
  12. Sorry for being brief. Was basically saying it is most likely a codec issue of some sort. Just to point things in the right direction in order to help resolve the problem. Thanks. Tom.
  13. I just looked at this for you. This is what you need to do. You will need to setup each daphne game as a separate custom system. See example for Dragon's Lair:- In PinballX.ini [System_4] Name=Daphne - Lair Enabled=True SystemType=0 WorkingPath=G:\Dropbox\Daphne TablePath=c:\ Executable=daphne.exe Parameters=[TABLEFILE] vldp -fullscreen -x 1920 -y 1080 -framefile "G:\Dropbox\Daphne\lair_HD\lair_hd.txt" Daphne - Lair.xml <menu> <game name="lair"> <description>Dragon's Lair</description> <rom></rom> <manufacturer></manufacturer> <year></year> <type></type> <hidedmd>True</hidedmd> <hidetopper>True</hidetopper> <hidebackglass>True</hidebackglass> <enabled>True</enabled> <rating>-1</rating> </game> </menu>
  14. Thanks for the thanks. lol
  15. Looks like \data\data.db3 may be corrupt. Backup the file and install GameEx again (without uninstalling). Thanks Tom.

    Aliens

I updated the PinballX install to include this newer database. I hope you are okay with that? Thanks. Tom.
  22. I just looked up this controller and see that it supports both DirectInput and XInput so you really can't do any better. The wireless side of it appears to be an additional layer that windows would know nothing about and it basically just appears to windows like any gamepad controller. However whether two would work together I can't tell you. It still seems to be a supported product by Logitech so why not ask them?
  23. Basically as Draco says and whilst it stays fun and i try to keep it so by not it making it too official.
