  1. Okay, so I just released 14.96. This adds a new setting under Advanced Emulator Settings in the Setup Wizard - Use Folder Names. I'm assuming it works the same as launchbox. It basically automatically turns on scanning of sub folders and uses the folder name instead of the file name.
  2. I'm working on it. I will have something for you very shortly.
  3. Map file will work perfectly. PS: This topic kinda looks like LaunchBox SEO click bait!
  4. It works in Pinball FX, yes, but there is no way to get it to work via the command lines options (Direct Table launch command line).
  5. I've looked at it a bit more. I think the path issues (other than data.mdb) are caused by two missing folders. Profiles and Events. Please create those folders in \Plugins\PluginLCD and let me know if the problem persists.
  6. Okay, looks like some bugs/issues with the Plugin itself. Ben (Headkaze) developed it so not much I can do for now. Maybe he will be kind enough to update it some point. A thought though that it might be because the events folder is missing from the zip. Please try extracting this into the \Plugins\PlugInLCD folder. Tom. Events.zip
  7. Can you or the op please upload the MAME build you are using and I will check it out today?
  8. Can you nail it down to doing something in particular at all? Perhaps try with a fresh config of the plugin. I think the settings are stored in the plugin folder somewhere for the LCD plugin.
  9. I can't duplicate this. It might be because GameEx is running in background mode. Try disabling GamEx running in the background under GameEx online settings and kill the GameEx_Background process.
  10. UltraVNC worked well for me in the past as my preferred non paid VNC solution: http://www.uvnc.com If you don't want to bother with port mapping and want a similar solution as TeamViewer try: SplashTop. The business version is not free but its very cheap compared to TeamViewer. You can try it out for free. The features are the same in the free version, or were, its just you need to pay if you want to make easier and have multiple machines.
  11. Your missing a space: -applaunch 442120-"table_STARWARS_Rebels" Should be: -applaunch 442120 -"table_STARWARS_Rebels"
  12. Might be a silly question but do you have cabinet mode enabled in FX3 too?
  13. Hotseat mode is simply not possible with the current FX2 or FX3 cabinet support (yes I have looked at it and tried). So Zen need to add this feature themselves.
  14. This is caused by two things. Either wrong path, parameters as I can see in the second post above or you do not have cabinet mode enabled. See:
  15. Cabinet mode is really what you want and you can request a code from Zen right from the Pinball FX 2 or FX 3 menu. However if for some reason you do not wish to use cabinet mode you can select the grid positions of your games in the Game Manager and enable non cabinet mode support in PinballX To enable non cabinet mode of FX in PinballX simply remove the table parameter from the FX2 or FX3 settings. Also ensure you are using PinballX 2.42 or above. So for example: -applaunch 442120 "-table_[TABLEFILE]" Should become: -applaunch 442120 Then ensure you select the grid positions of your installed games in the Game Manager. PinballX will then send keys to FX to navigate the games.

  18. Hi, I just wanted to make it clear the in built support is designed to work with "Cabinet" support from Zen. So if no tables are selecting you likely do not have "cabinet" mode enabled. See here:
  19. Okay, so the games are not selecting. Basically you need "Cabinet" mode for the feature. Contact Zen and request Cabinet mode. See here:
  20. Officially, I try hard to ensure backwards compatibility with older MAME builds but only tend to test with the latest versions. So it is likely not a GameEx issue but may be.
  21. Well, use the version you need. I am moving your posts to another topic.
  22. Yes, as I said set the defaults for Pinball FX2 in the setup wizard, by clicking the "Tick" Icon,.
  23. In the famous words of Delboy "bonnet de douche" lol. http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/onlyfools/lingo/euro.shtml Seriously though, in the setup wizard. Click the "Tick" to set the defaults and this will give you the defaults for the particular page.
