So i tried System > Recovery > Reset PC for the first time. i have to say it went pretty well. Seemed clean, just one driver missing and Mic is working again. interestingly no browser (Edge) was installed. I had previously removed it with a bloatware removable tool and it seemed to honour that. So I am back up now just got to install all my stuff..

May 23h2 update (or some other May update) broke my microphone. I got to do a complete reinstall now. Tried an external usb mic still borked. Microphones show up and show audio input (up and down). Everything looks fine but no actual sound from any kind of mic. May update broke my ability to do a system restore too which by the way you have to manually turn on now. So full reininstall from iso today. Its a 13th gen intel i7 laptop so not like I am using garbage. Macs look better every day.

convert-it is a separate product. nothing to do with gameex. GameEx runs on all versions of windows including xp and windows 10. how to install windows 10 is probably a separate topic for elsewhere but you "should" have no problem with the latest GameEx itself.

Yes it is via gameex.ini. it should be on here somewhere.

Just a tip but Retroarch is the way to go these days for basic 8/16 bit stuff. Take a look at that.

for the command line I think you should have exefile "[rompath]\[romfile]"

What you can do is do if you just want MAME is the fix to group or emu option. MAME is emulator 0. if you want to disable the "info" page that can be disabled in the ini too. Search the text file for gameinfo. PS: So it is not a feature request but not in the setup wizard in arcade edition: ShowGameInfoPage=False

Hi, Just to confirm on the cached 'all'/ text please switch from one list list to another within PinballX see if that helps.

Its part of the theme. Launch.mp3 or launch.wav I think.

I looked into the "all" text. i cant see much wrong. I think it is cached text. Please change the table list then change it back it again. For the exit issue I will need to see the log file and Pinballx.ini.

Ill look into the text issue. No idea why the exit key in future pinball does not work. Its not been reported by anyone else as far as I know. I think i would have heard. It might be on your end. Its possible gamepad exit might now work for some apps. Windows broke some stuff with DirectInput but this was some time ago. So all you did was upgrade PinballX? Nothing else at all? Please attach the log file and PinballX.ini.

Hi, Sorry, I didn't intend to be off with you if I was. Hopefully it was helpful info anyway. Cheers, Tom. PS: Lite is fine by me, it can cause issues though. Sometimes .net 3.5 is removed entirely. A standard windows 10 LTSC is not an issue. I know what it is. It has no issue with .net 2/3.5 That is not what i meant by a lite version. A lite version is a modified iso where components have been removed by a tool to improve performance and remove bloat. A "standard' Windows 10 LTSC is not a lite version and should work fine with everything here. Although I realise these days people refer it to as a lite Windows. For info to all, last time I tried to use a "lte" (not LTSC) (that I created myself) I got ransomware as it weakened security in windows. Not doing it again..

I think they are trying to fix issues with external libraries by running the 32 bit version of PinballX. I get it but don't think it will help much.

I don't think its a British thing. I think it is me but my problem is patience! lol Although you need to be pretty damn patient in the UK these days if you need medical care or help from the police! The British trait this millennium is normally hating your own country, being miserable and complaining all the time. I think its fair to say I'm not your average Brit though. I tried to explain it to you. Please follow my instructions. it is the "same" installer. Right click the installer exe. Properties -> Compatibility. Again, i don't think its your solution but that is what you do.

There were some fixes to real dmds in more recent versions. That could be your problem. Otherwsie as the developer its hard for me to troubleshoot unless I have the product. First I've heard of ZeDMD. Does it have Freezy support? I dont think 32 bit PinballX is your answer but if you want to try, you need to run the installer with compatibly settings for xp then not install the 64 bit version.

Yeah, The Microsoft .net framework does not work like that. A newer version is not necessarily that but a different version altogether. So trust the guy that wrote it and not question it and do what it is asking! If .net 3.5 won't install I am guessing you have a hacked or lite windows iso. Not a question for here, sorry. Is that what you are saying, or are you upset about installing it?

I'm pretty unbiased on Windows normally but other than real Wi-Fi 7 from what ive read its just more bloat, spyware and adware for people like us.

I see a youtube that 24h2 windows 11 is RTM now. However it is not available to me in my vs subscription.
