  1. Looking good! You'll probably need a decent size outboard with a seriously out of balance prop if you want your cab to actually move
  2. Any Kansas GameEx'rs out there? Love the logo!

  5. It doesn't work that way. All the tables have a lease, think of it as a DHCP lease. They must "phone home" every so often to remain active. After so long of it being blocked they are going to stop working anyway. Sorry to burst your bubble, it was a condition of the tables being included in the license agreement in case something of this nature happened. yeah right
  6. Yes, loose perhaps not such a good description. The fit is good, no wiggling, but the movement backward and forward has no resistance. It's as if it's not attached to a potentiometer. The review on Toms indicated the same.....
  7. Got my $7.67 Sidewinder 2 last night. The thing seems almost like new. Is the throttle control really loose on the FF2 version? It has no resistance at all like my Saitek does. Plugged it into Win 10 Pro and it was instantly recognized. Calibration went without a hitch.
  8. Yeah, take those tables out....... Game over for PA IMO.
  9. See, you just never know do you? In watching your video the idea that popped into my head was to put an appendage on that board that attached via a couple small hinges. That way you could flip it up to work on and then have it drop down somewhat out of the way to access the areas below. Hard to make those calls with any confidence ahead of time, which often times leads to being one of those "seemed like a good idea at the time".
  10. TV mount is sort of a French cleat, nothing wrong with that at all. I plan to do my marquee that way So if you had to do it over would you still make use of the inline fuse holders? I've been leaning that way myself.
  11. AT&T bringing gig fiber to our neighborhood has been a real game changer. For decades before this, however, there has been no choice and still isn't in most areas. Whatever happened to no monopolies? For years we've dealt with no choice when it comes to bandwidth. I can't think of a situation where competition is a bad thing. We may have never seen Conroe without it
  12. Cool, thanks! Force feedback has always seemed a bit of a gimmick to me, although I admit it's a pretty neat effect on the Logitech Driving Force. Assuming that's the only difference (which I'm not sure it is in the Sidewinder case) it seemed like a decent gamble for sixteen bucks.
  13. By all accounts, it seems the precision 2 is the same stick minus the force feedback. Seems these suffered from some static issue back in the day supposedly because of the metal bottom (?????)....how big of a deal is it.
  14. Solo: A Star Wars Story outsells Black Panther times two
  15. Obviously, to each his own. From a personal perspective, I was surprised to see this movie selling out back to back showings. It was elbow to elbow and I can't ever remember seeing a movie where so many people continually laughed. almost uncontrollably, throughout the movie. I can honestly say if there was audience discomfort at the show I was at, it was by far the minority. That said, my wife doesn't like Deadpool either, which is weird since she seems to like Reynolds pretty much. I am anxious to see this installment as well.
  16. Geesh I really missed the boat on this one. these things have a cult following. I just watched one on ebay described as "great condition, buttons work flawlessly" go for $28.50 plus shipping, that also did not have the power cord. From there they just go up in price anywhere from $50 to ridiculous numbers. One is on Amazon with Amazon fulfillment for $599.00. Apparently, the red edition really commands a hefty price. One guy on some flight sim forums had modded his FF2 with a Saitek Cyborg stick (<what I have), so people take this stuff seriously. A terrible shame MS turned their back on PC Gaming so long ago.......
  17. Bring on the work in process videos
  18. <Edit> Nevermind, just saw your video and this flickering is quite different.
  19. Nice, this should have been modernized ages ago! Too bad they didn't add tcp/ip direct connect to multiplayer. Some good ol one on one matches would have made for a cool experience.

  21. In the config folder, there should be a backup created during the upgrade process. GameEx.Upgradebackup.ini Rename it.
