I honestly think the emu descriptions are part of the mdb, so it'd be like adding game descriptions.

Answering some of my own questions is cool! It doesn't seem to. It displays the specified image as per system menu, which is great. It does! It doesn't get disabled, but for games like VPinMAME I can use the secondary images right over top of the snap it displays. This makes me assume that it's still running in the BG. It doesn't, but for now I'm happy using the MAME settings for number of screens (-numscreens 2) to also show the game playing to avoid burn-in for extended "attract mode" usage. That's all I got for now!

Yeah, we're a different breed over here! That's what sets GameEx apart though, ya know? As there are quite a few girls out there who game, I'm always more impressed by the ones who are into the retro thing. Those are few and far between! On a side note, cervante's pretty brave already to have "jumped in the pool" here. It's so wow that there's a girl out there willing to post here even though I've probably been guilty of calling her "dude" a time or two! *LOL*

Actually I feel kinda bad for you when it comes to that kind of behavior. People are mostly pricks to begin with, and being a girl means you have to deal with pigs too. I bet they wouldn't ask you to "whip 'em out" IRL. Internet tough guys... Meh! I may talk a serious game, but I try to be gentle with the trash talk, and I don't discriminate my prey by gender. Well, my 2nd PSU powers the marquee, coin door lights, cold cathode blacklighting, led lighting under the CP, 2 led fans in the speaker grates, and 5 other fans (3 80MM in the rear top and 2 120 MM for intake by the board) used to keep my box cool. Oh and the 2 new light bars I ordered to surround my 2nd monitor. I still have more hookup space should I decide to add anything else fancy, but I'm running out of things to add in (plus if I keep going it may get a bit *busy* with everything going on).

Well if you wanted my advice, it is easier, and it creates more room inside the cab for other cool stuff (2nd Power Supply anyone?)

Looks really cool man! As for the monitor, I just cut a board to fit the space and got some simple L-brackets and black foam sheets to do the finishing work. I also used a $20 HDTV wall mount kit so I could adjust it so the top of the monitor sits closer to the glass then the bottom (so the kids can see it even though they're shorties). You will want to move the board back some too, because it's kind of a pain to get the angle just right. Once you do though, it's really easy to replace the monitor if you choose to or if your current one dies on ya. PS: You will never finish it as long as there's cool stuff you can do, trust me! *LOL*

Hi everyone. I just have a couple quick questions about GameExtender: 1) I noticed the box that says GameExtender Constants. What is this for exactly? 2) If I use a static image for a game or system, does GameExtender still refresh? If so why? Like, when I select SNES can it be made so it displays the SNES static image I chose? If not... 3)Does GameExtender change the pic based on action? Like does it exit the emu and change the pic? Better yet, can I use a static image in the menu screen instead of having it pop up a random image I happened to be on when the refresh time recycled? 4) Does GameExtender get disabled when I use a multi-screen emu like Future Pinball? 5)Can I do a static image for MAME too? I didn't see the option anywhere. How about for the screen saver? It would be cool if I could show some type of image there, or better yet, have it show the static images I set up for whichever emu it's launching? Or maybe a snap with the time, weather, or even hi-scores and gameex stats? It seems to be less problematic than MM for the time being (for some reason some crazy stuff was happening when I used it). It only needs a little minor tweaking to make it work even better. It's really showing it's grace since you made the improvements to it. Thanks for the advice!
