  1. We're gonna need the whole log, not just the snippet of it. Internet research shows this is an error common to MSN Messenger, no idea why it's working against you here. Fact is you either deleted a COM object or DLL and didn't unregister it first somehow, or something got junked up in an uninstall somewhere. Give this a try: Link Here Of course, I'm assuming you're using Windows 7 since you didn't provide the full log and/or specs of the system it's running on. @Freq: Dang man! On it again! Man I'm getting a bit slower everyday!
  2. I meant that the switch wouldn't show up in MAME.INI, so users other than GameEx could essentially cheat and get away with it. A little customization could wind up on a GameEx specific score board though... *ponders*

    AAE issue

This happens to me when I try to use 2 controllers in Future Pinball too. Is it every time or only with 2 controllers on? Does it do this when the controller is on upon entering from GameEx or after you start up the emu and turn it on?
  4. Probably would be, but command-line would be a workaround for that.
  5. Your log is missing the close data.
  6. Xpadder=pwn!

    Happy 4th!

Actually we only make about 18c/unit on those Luckys too. Gas and cigs are our top 2 loss leaders. The more you know! *insert rainbow here*

    Happy 4th!

Not me, I gotta work. Happy 4th everyone! Be nice to your gas station attendant today!!! No digging for change and holding up the line, no whining about the bathrooms, and absolutely no bitching about gas prices! Yay!
  10. Awesome! Thanks a ton for the fix Tom! Marking as [RESOLVED].
  11. Thanks for the update Tom!
  12. You could add Arkanoid (arkaniod.zip) to the "don't filter these roms" list in GameEx's "Advanced MAME Config" setup on the Setup Wizard, and try to run it and see if it works if you're not vested in command-line stuff.
  13. Thank you Tom.
  14. Happy B-day man!
  15. Sorry Tom, still no joy.
  16. Ahh yes. This table is pretty great indeed. Give Metal Slug a go too, it's da bomb dizzle!
  17. I'm oldschool freq, I do everything the hard way! *LOL* .:EDIT:. It has been my experience that you can set a default for just about anything in the theme.ini and it will override GameEx's default settings. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  18. S#!t, I post when I'm unsure all the time! But you know that already. *LOL*
  19. @Tom: As per Frequency's suggestion, adding the line skipintro=true to my theme.ini fixed it for me. However it makes the screen black on startup. It has to be something in the startup logo animation procedure.
  20. In all honesty it's because I got 15 XP licenses sitting around and XP has been good to me for the most part. No real reason other than that though.
  21. yes,[but it was like 6 months ago or so.
  22. OK Tom, here's the log: ...and here's my GameEx ini: I did notice that after I auto-updated, GameEx menu loaded right up after updating. I only have a delay if I load GameEx myself from the GX icon. If that helps any... Lastly, here's those files zipped:
  23. Thanks for the update guys!
  24. Oops! I meant to say FF Origins. My bad. Haha! I will probably play the GBA version at some point on the DS too, but I'm still finishing up FFIV Complete's extra dungeon, and I have like 12 After Years storylines on Wii I'd like to get to first no thanks to Square.
  25. Last time I played it was on PSP (Final Fantasy 2 Anniversary) which was graphically updated version of the PS1 version with FMV cutscenes. It played true to the original Famicom version as reviews said and the updated gfx looked really nice. I'd recommend that version if you can get your hands on it. Otherwise I'd vote for FF Anthology version. I love the FF series and for me it was a lot of fun to play the PSP version since it was a classic with a modern twist. The arranged music on PSP was a special treat too.
