  1. You can change the mapping your emulator uses to exit under the Advanced Configuration for the emulator and set "Map Keys" to "False".
  2. Very cool mesk! It would be dope if you put an overlay on that. Not that it isn't already dope! Did you put an iPac in the controller?
  3. Well I have 2 usb keyboards plugged into my cab all the time and never have any conflicting issues if that helps you out at all? None of mine are saitek though.
  4. Good eyes mesk! I took that pic at work. Cigs are $7.27+tax for Marlboros, Newports, and Camels. Low tier smokes are $6.00+tax.
  5. Thanks for the kind words everyone! @mesk: Well as you already know, the cab is Mario themed and what good is Peach without Daisy? Shitty thing about most print places is they won't touch copyrighted material. When you find a place that does, hang on to 'em. The tedious part of this bezel was the brick work. I ended up laying each brick individually and flattening a row, then going row by row. Musta took three hours to get it just right! I went through a bunch of foreground designs before I settled on Paper Mario stuff. It's easy to crop and looks nice.
  6. ...and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The guy is great and the price is reasonable!
  7. Thanks for the update Tom!
  8. Thanks again Drac! You da man!
  9. Also did you run the reg installer for your gamertag on the new machine?
  10. Wow how cool is that! Thanks Tom and Ben! Gamertags was and is one of my absolute favorite GameEx features!!! Now make 'em skinable and the possibilities will be endless! PS: Man the Live page looks great! Love how you linked up our forum avatars! Very well improved and happy to be on Live! even though I use GameExtender!!! Nice!!!!
  11. I would just change the file properties on those to 'read only' if you want a temporary workaround. This also ensures it only updates when you want it to be updated. GameEx will skip the file if it can't overwrite it AFAIK.
  12. Precisely my thoughts. Plus who knows how long any given gaming session can last, so it's nice to have a full battery everytime you use it.
  13. For your second question, yes you can tell GameEx to audit your ROMs and only allow working ones.
  14. Thanks for the share Drac ol buddy! Teaching the community to fish will feed them for a lifetime.
  15. Don't you use a charger at all? 15 mins of inactivity is perfect imo. Amazing how I never noticed the center button already showed controller stats before!
  16. Ahh haven't seen this before. I'll have to try it when I get my cab back up and running.
  17. LOL @ Seinfeld references!
  18. I usually average around 100kb/s unless there's a ton of traffic. Never seen it get below 85kb/s on an update. That's with uTorrent and Xbox Live running too, so that's just fine for me.
  19. What do ya mean "will"? It already "does"! LOL!
  20. Yes. It's a BIOS file to help you search ( neogeo.zip ) Hope that helps!
  21. Bwahahahahahahahahaha! Now THAT was FUNNY! @bknobi: Why do you have a link to.... Nah, not gonna go there!
  22. I usually do NewEgg, but I was disappointed to see everything say 'out of stock' next to it. It was worth the $10 extra bucks to get it 3-day, but I won't even have time to play with it until Wednesday. I was smart this time though, and I built a removable "shelf" for the mobo. It was a real PITA to take it out since I hard-mounted it in. If something similar happens later, it will not take me out of commission entirely for too long. There were some things I wanted to do differently anyways this time around, so maybe it was a blessing wrapped in used toilet paper. Who knows. Now the real trick will be trying to screw in that video card to brace it without the case... That was a PITA last time too. Gonna try this though since I use the "bic pen" riser trick anyways to mount the board and it works really well.
  23. You bet! Marking as [RESOLVED]!
  24. Well... I use an 8 port and a 5 port switch on my network and haven't noticed any problems with speed whatsoever. I also opted for cat 5e because it was cheaper by the roll (I cut and cap my own wires and also wired ports in with each phone jack in each room). The reason I chained 2 switches was the same reason you plan to: I already had the switches and the combo was cheaper than 1 16 port. I also have a wireless hot spot in the basement that covers all of my 1 story house. My network is really working perfectly, so I don't think it's needed to throw money around just for the sake of throwing money around. Hope that answers the question.
