Ok great! Let's get you running! First your SNES issue. You need to make sure you set up ZSNES to work outside of GameEx. Then we'll need to point GameEx at the directory you installed it in. Let's just be sure it runs without GameEx first. Click the zsnes.exe and play around with it, map your controllers, etc and we'll go from there.
Without knowing about it, didn't realize iRotate was needed and didn't know the loader was the same for all files. Wish I could AHK but never touched it, so this is out of my range. Be happy to help wherever I can, db'ing, artwork or whatnot...
I used HK's method when I updated my cab last week, and it worked fantastic. If your emus are being moved also, make sure you do this for your emulator ini's as well!
Ahh perfect. Freq showed me variables and it really streamlined my Windows game BAT files. I see I haven't done this for SSF yet, so thanks for posting your info. It will help me out too.
Looks like something I need in my cab, especially with Tetris Grand Master 3 in there. I wanna wait and see if you can figure this out first, especially with the small flaws (like saving to D: since that's my DVD drive and it not liking GameEx). I may just say eff it and jump in anyways.
Hey man, knowing you're up and running is never a waste of my time! Glad it's behaving as it should! No question goes unanswered around here for long, and believe me I ask more than my share of dumb questions! Haha!
...and to help you get back to where you were! Don't worry Han, we're here for ya! Oh yeah, and meet our recent lifer: Draco! He's a good guy to have around I guess! LOL!
I need a fresh pair of eyes here. Or I need to take a look at my own setup and see how it behaves. My GameEx bezel shows up in attract mode like it should though and I use the same MAME version (and its a compiled version as well). I'm pretty sure mine passes -artwork because MAME team recently made that change.
GameEx should be checking your MAME version and making the artwork path change according to what you have for a MAME dist. Please try and run a rom now and post your GameEx log in its entirety.
