I gotta say, some of those cheese dresses seem to be really "phoned in". Respect the art people!

So This is a thing why? 😑
  3. 100% that's a bug. Please file that ticket. I can reproduce it here too.
  4. I am working on it, just not a whole lot of time IRL with the new baby. But I'll get it there!
  5. Edit: My bad, that command isn't there... yet. I'll throw it in there, I haven't gotten to that point yet but there a few variables missing. I know that doesn't help you right now, sorry. :'(
  6. It can. You should look at the Quicklaunch plugin, it does exactly what you describe. I'm in the process of updating it to match the features of the GameEx version so let me know if you hit a snag or something doesn't work right.
  7. 1. You can't do this currently. 2. You can create layouts for individual emulators, you'll have to browse around in the editor or on the forums a bit as I don't know the exact location of the option. Krakerman's Gameroom theme definitely leveraged this.
  8. Via MAME: Recently the Neo Geo BIOS was updated to add a new version of the Universal BIOS. This was done between 0.171/0.172, and results in an error trying to load Neo Geo games with an un-updated neogeo.zip set.
  9. No offense, but wouldn't it have been faster for you to post the link instead of instructions on how to Google a post you referenced that relates to the subject matter? We're all good people here, and we do this for fun. We support this community because we love the hobby. Keep that in mind when you sprinkle your answers with sarcasm. We want to help you! Without providing the documentation we're asking for, your essentially sending us out to investigate with absolutely nothing to go on.
  10. No need for that. It's really kind of a grey area since the answers are in the ROM itself and your files not being there, but I would just advise against it. My advice to you is more about learning how MAME works, there's lots of threads about it. MAME is a very particular emulator and not like any other ,in that the ROM files are very specific to the build you're using. You may also want to look into ROM management software like clrMAMEpro.
  11. You really need to make sure your ROM set matches your MAME build and is complete, otherwise you're going to keep running into this and posting threads about it. I know it's been mentioned before. We can't help you find ROMS, you gotta take some ownership here... we can only take you so far and you continue to have the same 'file XYZ is missing' issues. There are some basics to MAME that you're overlooking, you should search the forum about it. Asking about roms is only going to get you in trouble, it's blatantly against the rules here.
  12. It sounds like a focus problem, but it should also be noted that like Microsoft, we no longer support XP so it's going to be tough to diagnose.
  13. Loved the video, great work! You can also ask me if you have any plugin questions. My more popular ones integrate Xpadder and Virtual Drives, and there's one for two monitor setups. Pretty much endless possibilities for customization if you have a little coding ability.
  14. Also, the configuration you posted there has 'enabled' option set to 'no'. Set it to 'yes'.
  15. This reply should probably be moved. Just sayin.
  16. GameEx Evolution is, well, the evolution of GameEx. Right now Evo is in alpha but it's got a completely new rendering engine and a ton of improvements over GameEx. It's made to meet/exceed flashy front ends graphically while packing the efficiency, functionality and ease of use of traditional GameEx. In a nutshell.
  17. Is it a .reg file? You should just be able to click it to add the value to the registry, as admin of course. If your reg key didn't work, contact Tom Speirs via email.
  18. It's a database. You can't really rename a column. You can repurpose one though if you want. Tom would need to speak on how he parses them. If it's by index then the name won't matter, but if it's by name then changing it is just going to break the database. In either case you can't just delete a column. I'd recommend you create a new db3 in either case so it doesn't get overridden in an update. Just be sure to keep the schema intact.
  19. I'm more surprised that they promote the mod.
  20. You need to be a supporting member to download things from the repository. Your current lifetime subscription is for GameEx updates, not for the content. Right now it looks like you're in the basic group. Please ask a staff member if you aren't sure, someone can answer any other questions you may have.
  21. You're probably going to need to report that behavior on the Xpadder forums, not much can be done here unfortunately.
  22. Not necessarily. ClrMAMEPro can't rebuild files that are missing. If they changed anything in the BIOS and new or additional files are missing in that archive, it can't rebuild the zip. At the very least I would try and track down the neogeo.zip and see if that fixes the issue. You'll probably find that you need new copies, and old ones that can't be rebuilt to match what MAME expects can't be fixed. Because of that, I usually run clrMAMEpro and then update my set after that. You need both steps, currently you're only doing half the work.
