I use v4 just because its the most recent. No reason not to just make v4 themes afaik.

I had a similar problem with mine. I think its a driver issue. I ditched the PS controllers for Xbox controllers since it was issue after issue. I think you're gonna continue to have problems unfortunately. Sorry. On the flip I was using kitanas so... idk.

That's only partially true. You lose the ps2 CPU but it emulates ps2 in software. I have yet to find a ps2 game mine won't run and I have the same machine. They cut out the CPU to bring the cost down, not for anything piracy related.

Why would you need to do this? You're remapping a remapped key (that's a first on me anyways). There's probably better ways of doing it, I just need a little intel.

Well, I attached my mobo to a removable shelf I built and attached the hard drives and DVD drive to a small "cabinet" I built for them. Then I made sure to ventilate the box real well. In the end I can replace components without having to pull out the whole "tower" (since the cabinet itself is the tower). It just seems more fitting to me, especially if you have a dedicated computer for it anyway.

If you attach them to your post it scales them down. I personally upload a thumb and URL the thumb, but link the thumb to the full pic.

Your startup error is blaming Direct X. Make sure your card is updated and your DX is up to date. For sure the other is theme related. Your DX error may be a problem there too though. Too many things to guess. Can we see your theme.ini for starters?

Doesn't the global hook use the Avanced Configuration? As in if you set it up and apply it to use ALT+X for that emulator, wouldn't GameEx send ALT+X on exit instead of ESC when you press the ESC key? Alternatively you can change the binding in Nestopia from ALT+X to ESC if it comes to that. You shouldn't need to though... ESC is the button Nestopia uses to show the menu bar by default.
