  1. Lol! Circo is Circus in portuguese?? Never would have guessed. Well, with his EmuMovies website and FTP, he's definately running a circus. Grats on another year good buddy, hope you have a good day and many more ahead.
  2. Sorry to chime in late here, but doesn't GameEx already have generic bezel art for games that don't have it? I know whenever I play a vertical game that doesn't have bezels, there's always one that shows up anyway with the GameEx logo on one side and MAME on the other. Now if there was some way to make a bezel for 16x9, that would be worth doing. Since I run MAME on my TV, it's a LCD 16x9 and there is still black bars on the sides even with a horizontal game (because they're 4x3). If we could make 16x9 bezels to fill in the voids that would be something. Of course, I could just be off my rocker and completely ignorant to what this thread and idea is all about...
  3. I just think it's great all around. Necessity is the mother of invention.. he had all those consoles and couldn't have them all hooked up to the TV at the same time, now he can. I almost want to build one my own, but I don't have any consoles. I don't know if he'd ever sell it, but it would probably go for a TON of money, like 4 digit numbers at least.
  4. Thanks again for the update Tom!
  5. Heh WOW... all I can say. Spent the last 4 hours reading through his massive thread. He's almost done. He's got all the consoles installed and working flawlessly together with his custom controllers. He's working on building the outer case now. Finished with the front face plate, and is constructing the remaining sides and top/bottom. Very cool stuff.
  6. Yeah I was just reading about that too. Swap out a controller by changing the NES cart installed in the controller.. Amazing! Also, I found a post where he said the project actually started "Friday 28th May 2010".. (That was the day I turned 30!)
  7. Yeah, The thread started back in 2011, I'm still read/browsing through it. There's 94 pages!
  8. This guy is building the ultimate gaming console. It's not an arcade cabinet running emulators, it's the real deal. He's gutted bunch of consoles and is putting them all into 1 case, using just 1 A/V port and 1 Power port. He even built his own custom gamepad! http://www.made-by-bacteria.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=308
  9. I see Nintendo, Capcom, Playstation, and Taito..
  10. I like the idea, the ability to have more art on screen is always a welcome idea. Until Tom and the guys come out with a new theme version that adds the ability for more than 2 artworks, I think it's the only way so far to have all that on screen. The only downside to having it like that though is that you can't have any of the emumovies videos...
  11. Dumb question, have you tried using the keyboard keys: [ALT]+[ENTER] to go into full screen? That always works for me, and it saves it. You can also right click the shortcut and in the properties tell it to run in a maximized window...
  12. Figures, I click the link in your reply, and it takes me to a page that says the promotion has ended. What utter bullsh!t. Total waste of time. Guess I'll just have to support my local comic shops and buy them legit.
  13. Yeah it's still down. They have a little announcement thing saying that with all the high volumes of traffic, they DID infact have server issues. Trouble is, they haven't taken down the announcement yet, and it's been over 12 hours now. It's 1:00 EST now, and they're only doing it until midnight..
  14. Sweet update, gonna grab it now!
  15. I have an account there but their digital store website is so full of traffic you can't even check it out. I found another way in and added 2 current issues to a checkout cart when i discovered my billing account didn't have any credit card info on it. I tried adding it but their website is so busy right now I can't even update my profile/account. I'm probably going to miss out..
  16. Dudes, I'm SOOOO intrested in this... what do you have to do?
  17. I actually liked the way the original designs were coming, but still the new layout looks awesome too. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
  18. Have I been to Hocking Hills? Yes. Have I recently? Not in probably 15+ years. Last time I went, I was there to take pictures of a newly married couple for their wedding album. Looking back, I was only like 16, so I don't know why they'd want some rutty little kid running around with them in Old Man's Cave to take romantic pictures of them. But, eh, at the time we were all good friends (she was old enough to be my mom at the time). It IS really neat though. Something I've always wanted to do was go pseduo cave diving, like a tour, in places like Mammoth caves, but that's outta state and I don't really have reliable transportation at the moment.
  19. Depth of Field looks amazing. I got myself a Canon T3i last year. I haven't used it much. My major problem is that I'm sick of looking at the same stuff around me all the time. Nothing looks interesting enough to take pictures of. Now for me, if I were to go visit Ireland, I'd probably take TONS of pictures, because it would be all new to me, and everything would look awesome. The same for you if you were to visit the good old state of Ohio in the USA, probably take a lot of stuff cause nothing looks the same to you. But to me, it's just old and boring and nothing that great. I'd like to see a "picture from my window" and I'll take one too if you wanna see it..
  20. I dunno, I kinda like the intro video with the original sound..
  21. Don't give up on VirtualDub. If you're having trouble with file formats, use a conversion tool to put it into a format more easily used (like AVI). A great free tool I found and use often is called SUPER by eRightSoft (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html). It will let you convert just about everything to everything, provided you have all the proper codecs installed. Once you get it converted, VirtualDub is my choice for video editing. You could also load VirtualDub up to run through a hosted video, and have an AVS script running for your conversions. Lots of freedom with VirtualDub.
  22. Nice update. Don't have the HDHomeRun, but always glad to see new features being implemented!
  23. I've always used Virtualdub (http://www.virtualdub.org/) for all my video editing needs. It has lots of plugins you can get to increase it's functionality.
