  1. The keys presses are turning up as joystick commands in mame as well. Is there anyway to turn off maybe joystick support in Mame and Game Ex, maybe that is the problem? ...or maybe I just have to map the joystick commands as well in Mame? I guess I thought when xpadder was running it over rode any joystick commands, maybe I am wrong.
  2. I must admit I have ran into some strange issue but this here has got to take the cake. It's so strange I don't even see how it is possble. As I somewhat stated above I am using Xpadder. A and B on my 360 controller are programmed to A and B keys, both confirmed in Xpadder and now in note pad. In Game Ex select is sat to key A and B is sat to back confirmed and working on my X-Arcade and also in note pad. In the menus in Game Ex my X-Arcade works fine but on my 360 controller A and B don't. Now A has become B and B is now D but only in the menus and only on the 360 controller! I also just notice now that in Mame my buttons are not working correctly with my xpadder either. I guess this is not a Game Ex issue but some sort of conflicting issue. =[
  3. I am 100% this is correct because it works all but the delay problem. "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"E:\Emulation\Roms\NEC TurboGrafx CD\[RomFile]" ps. I am running Vista 64.
  4. Ok... I have tested all of the above an none of it works for me by that, I mean none of it seems to anything at all but not work. LOL! Either I am doing something wrong or it just does not work. I tried... "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"[RomPath]\[RomFile]";Sleep 5 "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"E:\Emulation\Roms\NEC TurboGrafx CD\[RomFile]";Sleep 5 ...and the batch file. Nothing. BTW... Sleep.exe is in the Game Ex root folder already but I did install your's to System32. HELP!!!! What am I doing wrong here????
  5. Yeah I am going to go over everything one more time when I get home and make sure it is all correct. I know what you are saying and lasted I looked, everything seemed to be programmed ok. How well does Xpadder work with multiple profiles? I want to be able to use it when I get my control panel and the reason I ask is because I am going to have two U360s as well as my Xbox360 controller. I want to be able to use these all at the same time, well so to speak I want to be able to pick any of them up to control whatever it is I am doing.
  6. Ahhh... Ok, I see.
  7. I download and started to use Xpadder last night for my 360 controller, program is AMAZING! So far I love it!!! However I am running into a sort of strange issue with it and Game Ex that I need to look into a littlle more myself but this is really weird. In the Game Ex front end I have "A" button 1 sat to select and "B" button 2 sat to back but when I use my 360 controller the buttons swtich around a little almost like I don't have them sat correctly but I do (I think). On my control panel everything is fine but on my 360 controller, it's almost like I don't have the buttons program correctly. I guess what I really need to do is open note pad and double check. I'll report back. It is so stange that it is even hard to explain what I am trying to say.
  8. I am just cutting and pasting what head posted above, renaming it to "MountImage.bat". Again, I have not tried the latest version, I will do so this evening.
  9. Here is my current launch before that is working other than the timing issue. "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"E:\Emulation\Roms\NEC TurboGrafx CD\[RomFile]" How will it look using your line? "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"E:\Emulation\Roms\NEC TurboGrafx CD\[RomFile]";Sleep 5 I want to make sure the above is correct, I will be doing a direct cut and paste from this thread. If it is suppose to be like I have it above (your version) that I posted and edited here, it does not work, command line error. I will try the batch file again when I get home from work today and as far as the batch file goes, the only thing I did was cut and paste what was poasted here in notepad, saving it as "MountImage.bat". I did try the batch the first time around and it did not work. Question, how does any of this know to look in system32 for sleep.exe? Thanks for all the help so far guys.
  10. The first way does not work, says error in command line. The second way I am not 100% sure on, what is the exact launch before? MountImage.bat [RomPath]\[RomFile] "MountImage.bat [RomPath]\[RomFile]" MountImage.bat "[RomPath]\[RomFile]"
  11. I would be more than willing to help you with any of that, jsut let me know but there is nothing really to post on that one. Just use the virtual cd command for it.
  12. I am not sure but the way I am reading this is, the command is sent so many seconds after the emulator is loaded ie to make it full screen etc.. Maybe I am wrong but I don't think this is what I am looking for... ps. I tried what you suggested and it does not work but thank you for trying.
  13. I don't have anything in the keys to send box. I put 5000 in the wait before but it seems to go as fast as always, do I have to have something in the other box in order for this to work? It's crazy, if it does not load the first time by the third time I try and load it, it almost always works.
  14. Here are some of my findings... Unzipping my PC Engine/ Turbo CD collection increased it size by near 100 gigs. =[ Have them unzip does not fix the problem of the loading. Sometimes I will have to load a game 3 times before it takes in Daemon tools. The only thing unzipping them did was take up more space and speed up the process bewteen loading failures. I am testing right now with the increased pause Game Ex version here and it does not help. This is a timing issue between the time it takes Daemon tools to load the iso and then for Magic Engine to launch I have tested this in a command prompt and can get it to work everytime if I wait a few seconds between the time it takes the iso to load and then loading Magic Engine. Is there no way to increase the pause between the time it takes the iso to load and running Magic Engine?
  15. Tom, Will you be cont. to working on the timing issues? If you read over this thread here you will see that a few of use are having some issues. http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=6626 I tried your updated exe here, not much luck. Thanks.
  16. So I am not crazy? Tom is there anyway to correct the zip timing issues? V.CD seems ok for Saturn games but not for Turbo CD, atleast not yet. Man... I spent all afternoon working through this stuff cause I kept thinking I was doing something wrong.
  17. This happen for me from time to time when using Daemon Tools to load these. Never outside of Game Ex but from loading within it. I am not sure what happens but I could load a game once and get the dash that you speak of, exit back out to the Game Ex front end, click on it again to load the same game and it will work. This to me seems like a timing issue with the unzipping and Daemon Tools.
  18. GUI ***I edited the above post, more info...
  19. Hmmmm... I guess you right, it did get the ISO to mount with that one game outside Game Ex. Well when the games don't load right using V.CD all I get is a load error when pressing the start button this is within Magic Engine. I mean maybe the drive letter change but I don't see how that would have matter since I am hand selecting the image outside of Game Ex. Here is what I do. Mount the image to drive I: (V.CD Drive) Run Magic Engine Select Boot CD It says I: data CD ***which BTW when I am using Daemon and load the .cue file it says the name of the game there and not "data CD" I select data CD It loads the card "Super CD-Rom2 System Ver. 3.00 and tells me to push the run button I push the run button and it says "LOAD ERROR!"
  20. ...but thats the point. I try mounting the iso with V.CD even outside of Game Ex and Magic Engine will not load the game. So as you always say, if it don't work outside Game Ex it surely is not going to work inside it. In any event, I tried both.
  21. Turning that off fixed the problem, thank you. The one stange issue I am having with the Turbo CD is this, I am still using Daemon Tools at this point BTW. Sometimes it seems like Game Ex does not wait for the files to be unzip before it tells Daemon to mount the image. I can try downloading the new Game Ex file in this thread but I did not know if that would help my problem since I am not using Virtual CD for Turbo at this point. Otherwise is there a way to make it pause longer before it trys to mount the image? Sometimes it works perfect but I can usually tell when it is not going to work as by the time it take to unzip the image... BTW... I am not sure why H would have been mapped to anything, I don't ever remember setting anything like that but as I said, that did correct it so thanks.
  22. Daemon mounts the cue and if I mount the iso it does not work in Daemon. In other words if I select the iso to mount outside of Game Ex with Daemon Tools the game will not work in Magic Engine however if I mount the cue it does. Virtual will not mount the cue when I try to do it manual, I get an error and when Game Ex does it, it mounts the ISO and does not work inside or outside of Game Ex.
  23. Where would I look for this?
  24. Funny... The problem is one of my joystick keys is sat to H.
  25. I figured some of this out here. Had to do with Virtual CD loading the iso file and not the cue. Still trying to work out the bugs.
