  1. That will not work for me because when the torrent is updated, the file format stays the same. I don't want to recompress 130 gigs everytime and update comes out. Infact I already did what you suggested and now I am running into this problem.

    rar support

I need rar support for Game Ex in the same way it handles zip files, unzips the game and then removes the game there after. Can this be done? Need to use this for PC Engine ISO games. =] Thanks!
  3. Ok, I see what you are saying... I still have not had time to check out my issue, this weekend for sure.
  4. Game is AMAZING! I own it, I love it!!! User content is top notch!!! If you own a PS3, you use own this game. BE BLOWN AWAY! UNREAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. What do you mean by a couple of days?
  6. Verbose was turned on but when I loaded CP to check, there went the log file. Whoops! I changed Delay from 2000 to 3000, see if that helps. I don't think Mame was still running under processes but I will test all this out tonight when I get home from work and report back. Thanks (so far) Guys. I really like this program and want to get it to work correctly.
  7. Still have a problem with this I would say about half the time, I pause the game and the CP wizard interface never comes up on screen. I just more or less get a freeze of what is on the screen at the time I pause the game and then I have to use crtl alt delete to shutdown parts of CP Wizard. As you can see from the attached file, Mame is not even running anymore. Don't mind the .def files, I was working on Mugen. =]
  8. So far Game Ex is about the best investment I have made when it comes to software.
  9. Fixed Thanks. =]
  10. Some how I thought that was a joke that everyone won. Hmmm... Ok then.
  11. I changed it but it does not change anything in the menu even though it is saved.
  12. Is it possilble to rename Daphne under the emulator list in Game Ex? I think it is currently called Laser Disc games or something like that... If so, how... Thanks!
  13. So who won?
  14. Happy Birthday Halloween!
  15. JC... This is what I would like to be able to do, can you help me make this happen? After looking over everything you provided here, can this be done? I would like to use "Brokenmugen in HIres" but the only thing I would like to be different is the character select screen, I would like that to look like "mugen fighting jam in HIres". I love the look of Broken but what the character select of Jam. Thanks! If I can't make this happen, I will just stick with Jam because I can sort move characters better in it. I really like the look of Broken, everything about it is awesome... I just need more character slots and I like the layout of that screen on Jam. Too many for some but cool for me.
  16. Thank You, great post! I will give some of these new ones a try. What I did do with the old one I had was weed out all the garbage. It took a lot of work to do it but it is now (more or less) done. What I have left is a great bunch of characters but the too problems I am running into now are as follows. Even when the game is on easy, some of the characters are VERY hard to play against! I am no stranger to fighting games and some of these characters are like non-stop special moves etc.. Is there anyway to correct the level of difficulty other than through the menu? Next the program crash from time to time but I think it has something to do with my sound setup; I am still looking into this. Question... In my select.cfg what does it mean when after some of the players names... Well here is an example: Sakura, ,order=3 What does ",order=3" mean? Also maybe you can help me with this... I have Pocket Fighter characters in my Mugen but they are very hard to fight against with normal fighters. Is there away I can set Mugen so I never have to fight against them unless I am using another Pocket Fighter?
  17. Works Great! Thank you vvery much!!
  18. Next to Christmas, my favorite holiday! Enjoy!
  19. Looks pretty cool to me, keep it up!
  20. Hmmm... I'll give it a try when I get home from work, thanks!
  21. I downloaded a bunch of retro commercials and was wondering if there was anyway I could have these play when the screen saver came on in Game Ex?
  22. Thanks! One last thing and sorry to go round and round with this but I jsut want to make sure I am 100% on it. "64-bit processor" when checked compiles a 64 bit version of mame, correct? "dual core" when checked compiles mame faster using my dual core processor but has no effect on the version it's shelf that I am compiling of mame, correct? "Optimize for IntelCore2" compiles mame in a way that does effect the outputed version of mame and in turn will be a better version to run and play on my dual core system, correct? In other words. "64-bit processor"compiles mame64 "dual core" compiles mame faster but does not create a mame 64 bit version unless "64-bit processor" is checked. "Optimize for IntelCore2" selected when "64-bit processor" is checked to compile the best mame "64 bit" version of mame for my setup, Intel Core 2 Duo E8500.
  23. So if I have a dual core (which I do), I should always check the dual core box whether I am compiling for 32 or 64 bit Mame? With that box check, it will compile Mame faster, using my dual core processor to do so. Dropping the box down and selecting Intel Core2 will optimize Mame more for my dual core processor, not the compiler but Mame it's self. Did I get that right?
  24. So I installed this... I see what you are saying, some of the characters are really not matched well. The version I have has a bunch of characters in it but I would say 50% of them are junk.
  25. Me too. So the 64 bit option compiles Mame64 but the dual core option makes it compile faster?
