Hi! I recently upgraded my Win7 to Win10 and the handling of Daemon Tools (V10) seems to be very different There is no tray icon for daemon tools and the vitrual drive is not showing if there is no image mounted ( no drive letter) Another thing, the command line for Daemon tools doesn't work anymore : dtlite.exe -mount scsi, 0, "[Rompath]\[Romfile]" So wich program for iso management should i use now if daemon tools doesn't work as intended before Should the command line be modified, or should i use an older version of daemon tools Wich one could work with Win10?? Using Win7 x64 with all depencies installed : VC, .NET 4.5, and so on (all is running great) I've tried with PJ64 1.6 and the Glide plugin doesn't show up With PJ64 2.2.0.3 (latest) , plugin show up but black screen when launching a game ( emulation start but just black screen) Does anyone have this combo working : Aziaudio + Glide64 latest + PJ64 ??,

Glide doesn't work for me in PJ64, Plugin is recognized but black screen.... And Azimer audio doesn't work too. Says error in Aziaudio.dll With wich emulator are those plugins intended to be used??

Thanks for the update but it loops updating for me. I've tried the latest Gameex setup from the website but it still says there is an update and if i say cancel, on next launch it download update automatically. Should i have to clean temp files or anything else? Thanks (EDIT : I'm not the only one who still have the issue, zabrin was typing faster than me ) The config.ini in data/autoupdate folder says 14.06 I've Tried to modify it to 14.07 but it goes back to 14.06 on gameex launch

Thanks for your reply Adultery Attached are my Gameex.in and log.txt as requested. I just have tried SFEX2P within MAME and for me software rendering in MAME is not as good a OpenGL render in Zinc That's why i've used it. Whenever Zinc is an old emulator, it renders better 3D games (for me) than MAME GameEx.ini log.txt

Hi! I was using Zinc since a while but nowadays it seems to be broken In the setup wizard, i'v enabled Zinc but it doesn't seems to launch correctly. When i launch for example Street Fighter EX 2 +, the script is : @ECHO OFF chcp 65001 D: CD "D:\Emulators\Zinc" mame.exe sfexp2 -rompath D:\Emulators\MAME\roms It doesn't launch Zinc at all! I've set up Zinc in the config Wizard like this : Zinc path : D:\Emulators\Zinc Zinc EXE : zinc.exe Zinc options : -renderer=ogl_renderer.znc --controller=controller.znc It was working with those settings before (has been set one year ago and working), is the Zinc support broken ? Hi I have a large collection of music videos classified in a folder named "Clips" with subfolders by artist I've searched how to play randomly the content of the folder "clips" (wich does not contain any videos, only folders) When i'm in the folder "clips" and i try to "play all randomly" i doesn't work because it's just searching videos in the folder and not in the subfolders. How can i do this, and if not possible, can this be a feature request? Thanks

Ok i've found a solution i just have to use a batch in the "launch before" advanced config The batch includes a line for the daemon tools comand line and another line with a ping command to add delay before Yabause is started Thanks

Hi! I've setup Yabause but i have a problem I use Daemon Tools to mount CD image and it is set to "launch before" The problem is that Yabause is launching just after CD mounting and daemon tool doesn't completely finished to mount the CD So yabause return a message "Can't initialize Yabause" because it can't find any CD rom mounted How can i add delay between the daemon tools command line (wich is mounting the CD Rom) and the launch of Yabause, to be sure that the CD is well mounted when the emulator is launched??? As it doesn't work with embedded gameex browser, i've run NETFLIX with google chrome in external app Chrome is set to fullscreen with -kiosk argument and launched with "More Games and programs" Mouse emulation is set to on to control the netflix interface with my xbox360 pad So Everything works, i can enjoy netflix on my cab

Ok but it's not so bad if you can run netflix as an HTML application in Gameex. It' s not working for me at the moment. Perhaps a limitation of the Fullscreen browser? I'm able to see contents of netflix but black screen when launching a video (silverlight problem??) Thanks for your reply

Hello, Netflix just released in France and I try to use it with GameEx. But when I activate Netflix it gives me a list of movies that should be in the USA, and I can't view them. Is GameEx able to display movies based on the country where we are? Thank you

ICONS IN GAMELIST LIKE IN MAME LIST ? I wonder if it is possible to add this feature : I have a lot of PC Games which are .lnk "roms" displayed in the game list I don't have screenshots or movie for all of the games and i wonder if it is possible to display the icon of the .lnk file, to have a preview of what the game is. It could be just a small icon like in the Mame Game List or the icon could be displayed instead of the screenshot/movie if gameex doesn't find a suitable one Do you think it's possible to add such a feature?? P.S : I'm not sure ,but GameEx Arcade is using this to display snapshot or not ? Thanks

Apparently we should not be many to use a trackball with GameEx and even less with GameEx Arcade. Since this is not a major problem and I can largely do without, I think I'll wait GameEx Evolution

Hello I've just found a minor problem with Gameex I use a trackball and i've enabled trackball support within Gameex It's hiding the mouse cursor and moving up or down the trackball move the item highlighted in the menu So it works great When i launch an emulator, the mouse control is reverted as normal, so it works too But if i launch Gameex Arcade, the mouse cursor is stucked in the middle of the screen and i cant' move it I'm sure it's because it keeps the "trackball support" from the gameex menu in gameex arcade Can this be solved? Thanks

Hi! Not sure it was requested before but can you include supermodel under Mame section like it was done with Model2 & Zinc. (Able to use it or not in the setup wizard) It can surely be done by grouping emulators but it can be easier this way ( Not that i'm a lazy guy.... )

Yes i've done that and played a little bit with lavcodec settings Now the slowdown is quite unnoticeable (but still here) Perhaps with a more powerfull CPU i'll not see that but i found strange that it works full speed with the "aspect-duration ribbon" and then slowdown when it disappears. Does it deals with Directx Hardware Acceleration or anything else, i don't know...... So not totally resolved but i've found a workaround

I have recently migrated my cab from XP to 7 X64 and i can see that codecs are not handled in the same way at all on the 2 OS I'll try to disable MS Avi Decoder to see if it change something in Gameex

Quite modern, it's a Quad core Q6600 oc at 3.33Ghz with 4GB of ram, no problem for playing 1080p mkv files through gameex so i think it's not the problem

After deeper tests, i've found the problem has to do with the "Do wait" Vsync in the tweak/performances configuration With parameter on "don't wait" it works normally but the interface has some tearing during menu transitions With parameter "do wait" i have video slowdown after the aspect ratio ribbon is gone......... Can this be fixed or shall i keep the "don't wait" setting???

Hi! I 've just discovered a strange issue. When i play avi videos, it starts well when the overlay displaying the format of the video is shown ( Aspect Ratio 4:3 - Not Zoommed , for example) But when this ribbon disappears, suddently the video is choppy, not the sound, just the image wich is slowed down and not in sync with sound If i change the aspect ratio at this time, all become right again until the ribbon disappear...... Really strange because it just do this with avi files...... Other video formats are working well I'm using W7 X64 and have tried with FFDshow & Shark Codecs, same things happen I've noticed that avi files runs well in WMP or any other player,with FFDSHOW or Sharks so it's quite strange Can someone confirm the problem or is it just my setup? Can it be an overlay problem? Thanks
