  1. Version 1.4 Released - Mouse emulation added (use Joystick for mouse games) - Converting artwork now places files in separate folders for GameBase/WHDLoad/SPS
  2. I have no idea what those values are for. If Balgarath was a bit more responsive on e-mail I would ask him. He did answer my first e-mail and I was suprised to find out he already knew about this project. Perhaps you could ask on the Mage forums? The kickstart value for whdload is linked back to the Game table using the GA_Id value as the key.
  3. 1) It seems Tom has updated some emulator downloads without realizing they need to be inside a folder. 2) I guess it's because they are released so often it would be hard to keep up. 3) Because Nologic does things his own way, you would have to ask him why he didn't use the defaults the installer uses

    console classix

It was a contract job not consultant job. I don't think Tom has anything to do with the website he only wrote the software they use.

    MAME Arcade Cab

Well it wasn't so much Maximus Arcade itself it was a member of their forums coming here and leeching our tools then bashing GameEx on their forums. But he did apologise and all that. Lol it still makes me laugh though his reaction when we caught him out

This is freaky.. This is old but funny
  7. Tom has confirmed that he gets the same error. Bare with me I'm going to get Vista running on VirtualBox and see if I can figure out whats going on.
  8. You can download 1.4.5 from http://www.winuae.net/. It has all previous releases there.

    Mame Question

Speaking of hacks I succesfully injected keys into Mame's Raw Input System quite a while ago. I haven't got around to putting it into a useable form yet as the original purpose of it was to add Kaillera support for Vanilla Mame. During testing with Street Fighter II it proved to be unreliable since even the slightest sync being lost between server and host would mean the two characters would be in two different places on each screen. But the point is it is possible to skip Mame's warnings via software I just don't think its a high priority. Especially since Mame Compiler and the hiscore.diff's which add features worth the effort of compiling your own version of Mame. If I thought there was an urgency (ie. More than a few requests/complains about auto-skipping warnings in Mame) then I would probably knock up a dll for Tom to use in GameEx for this purpose.
  10. This is how I have mine [Drive]:\Emulators\[EmuName] [Drive]:\Roms\[systemName] [Drive]:\Artwork\[systemName]\AviSnaps [Drive]:\Artwork\[systemName]\BoxArt [Drive]:\Artwork\[systemName]\CartridgeArt [Drive]:\Artwork\[systemName]\Snaps [Drive]:\Artwork\[systemName]\TitleSnap
  11. 1.4.6 has just come out of beta and has not been tested with WinUAE Loader. Try 1.4.5.
  12. Version 1.38 Released - Fixed input mapping bug This was an introduced bug in recent versions. sbaby: That is winuae.exe crashing not my loader. What version of WinUAE have you got?
  13. Have you got .NET 2.0 installed?
  14. It only supports one image for Boxscan, but I suggest the following Set - Snap/Video Path to Screenshot1 - Title Snap Path to Title Screen - Box Art Path to Box Art Front - Cartrige Art Path to Box Art Back Of course you can use any 4 for those too.
  15. Can you post here your CPWizard.log file please.
  16. Version 1.37 Released - Added support for Boxscan artwork
  17. Version 1.36 Released - Added filtering for GameEx map generation. This is handy for removing games that arn't in your own language.
  18. wobbly: I didn't even realise there were two other screenshots for each game. The second two are much better than the title screen. Version 1.35 Released - Can now select from Title Screen, Screenshot 1 or 2 screenshot formats
  19. They are screenshots, you must have downloaded the wrong file (GameBase Amiga - Boxscans (Complete v1.5).zip)
  20. Version 1.34 Released - Bug fixes - Can now convert screenshots without GameBase Amiga database
  21. Yes it does work but there are two things to note A. You must be using the Screenshot pack from here B. They must remain inside their folders from the archive I just realised you need the "GameBase Amiga.mdb" file for this also. I'll look into fixing this.
  22. Nothing personal but why not upgrade to XP Pro? It is so much better than ME it's not funny. In fact ME is known as worst ever Windows released by Microsoft. I'm not going to say anything about Vista (ahem).
  23. Yes, what you need to do is get WinUAELoader\Data\GameBase.uae and WinUAELoader\Data\WHDLoad.uae and place them in your WinUAE\Configurations folder. Then just load them using WinUAE, make your changes then copy them back into WinUAELoader\Data\
  24. Okay added the single key disk swapper. So it works basically how you would imagine, a key is assigned to be the Disk Swapper (default 'p') and when you press it it will insert disk 2, then if you press it again it will insert disk 3 .. and so on up to the number of disks the game has. So if it has 4 disks it will go 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1... etc. Works fine for me here, so let me know if there are any problems. That Joystick/mouse auto selection sounds like it could be handy
  25. Okay just uploaded Version 1.21. I have added the logic bool UseMouse = true; if (PlayersSim == true && (Control == 0 || Control == 1)) UseMouse = false; So can you test that works the way it should now? I like your idea about only using df0: for the disk swapper. I also already know how many games are in the swapper so it should be easy to manage that. So does that mean if I have, for example, a 4 disk game in swapper slots 1 to 4 Pressing the "swapper key" would Press END + 1, END + 2, END + 3, END + 4 then loop back to END + 1... Is that all I would need to do? Do I need to select Drive 1 first or is DF0: the default selected drive?
