  1. CPWizard v1.78 Released - Fixed input with U360's - Fixed minimizing when starting from GameEx - Added support for increment/decrement input mappings.
  2. PlugInLCD 2.74 Released - Added support for increment/decrement input mappings Check out the video page on the official GameEx website, it shows a video of a cab running with a serial connected BetaBrite.
  3. Welcome back Yes I do remember the name. As you can see my ugly mug is still around. Alot has happened in a year, like the search feature, updated databases, more plugins, still regular updates happening to GameEx. Overall things have been going from strength to strength. You can always check out the News to see all the updates since January 2007. BTW Congratulations on getting married!
  4. PlugInLCD Version 2.73 Released - Added support for BetaBrite USB interface Stub: I have no idea about the delay, I've never owned a BetaBrite. I might add color code support in the future. Can you test the new plugin for me and let me know if it's working okay?
  5. Version 1.1 Released - Support for default mame maps
  6. Thanks shaunopp, I think I found the bug, please try 1.04.
  7. Wrong log file, that's the GameEx log file, I need PlugInUltraStik.log located in the PLUGINS folder. Also can you tell me what version of Mame your running?
  8. Thanks for the heads up Stub. Okay I've uploaded a new version, this time when you turn on debug it will output to a log file called PlugInUltraStik.log. This should make life much easier. So shaunopp just run it with debug turned on then post your log here.
  9. Here it is SendKeys.zip
  10. Take a look at GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS\SendKeys.htm
  11. Can you try this test program. Make sure you enable the BetaBrite, and select USB. Then select a game from the Controls.dat list. I have no idea if it will work on not. EDIT: Uploaded with missing references. LCDTest.zip
  12. That's good news about the library working, so it must be a problem in the plugin. I think I know were the problem is but I still can't see any problem in the code. So attached is a test plugin that will show a MessageBox when it attempts to get the right map file. You will need to run GameEx in Windowed mode to see the MessageBox's because I'm not using the internal one. You should see two messages called UltraStikMap1 and UltraStikMap2 when it attempts to set a map. The first one shows game details and the second shows the map file. If there is an error it should show a MessageBox with the error. I'm expecting an error and hopefully this should give me enough info to figure out what's going on. BTW ugc files allow you to have different mappings for different joysticks. Eg. # This is an Ultimarc UltraStik Game Configuration file UltraStikGameConfigurationFileFormatVersion=1.0 UltraStik1MapFile=Analog UltraStik2MapFile=Mouse Pointer UltraStik3MapFile=Analog UltraStik4MapFile=Analog
  13. I'll look into it. Wheres the dll?
  14. PlugInUltraStik 1.02 Released - Added support for using parent ROM names in PlugInUltraStik.ini - Added support for UltraMap Config (.ugc) files

    Sad news

I thought the guy died for a minute there.
  16. Okay I've knocked up a little test program to check that my library is working okay for you. This should help determine if the problem lies in the plugin or my library. Make sure you select a joystick from the list before you try setting a map. Again running UltraMap alongside this will help you figure out if the mapping is working okay. UltraStikTest.zip
  17. Hmm very strange, although there were a few bugs I found (fixed in 1.01) it definately should be loading settings from the ini file okay. Turn on debug (it works now), although you won't see the popup message until you exit the game. I'll have to ask Tom if he can fix it so the message will appear before the game is launched. A good way to test this is to run GameEx in windowed mode, and run UltraMap along side it. When you run a game you can tell if it's changed the settings from watching the little + cursor in UltraMap. At least we know it's sorta working for you, but with 1.01 I really can't fault it. Can you also attach your testcustommap.um.
  18. Wow that is one sexy arcade cabinet! BTW What are you using to control the LEDs or are they perminately lit?
  19. Try changing to a different version of Mame. I noticed you have a mamep meaning it's optimized so perhaps try download a vanilla version from mame.org.
  20. 1. Press TAB inside Mame and check that your controls are mapped correctly 2. Edit GameEx.ini and change BezelVersion=1 to BezelVersion=2 3. C64 and Amiga games sometimes require input from the keyboard 4. Check out "Audio Settings" in particular "MAME Audio Mode". You can set it to continue playing the jukebox when you run a game (Select the first option "Play Playlist Audio and run MAME with Sound").
  21. I was playing around today and noticed that when CPWizard was launched with GameEx it was minimizing them both. I'll have to have another look at this some time. BTW I really like the CP you've created, looks great

    CPWiz issue

I setup my U360's on my test machine and I noticed the problem with CPWizard reading them, I should be able to fix it though.
  23. I believe this is a problem with the Mame version detection. AFAIK you can fix this by changing the following in GameEx.ini BezelVersion=2
  24. Sweet!! You have been busy Tom! I love the horizontal menus
