  1. I can't remember the reason I made the Setup Wizard always on top. I didn't realise this would mean the extractor dialog would appear behind it. I will change this for next release. As for the 7Zip issue with the update list, this sounds like a bug and hopefully will get the attention of Tom.

    Plugin Problem

Can you try this version PluginManager.zip
  3. The Setup Wizard doesn't do a recursive search (it doesn't search for files in folders). I can probably fix that in the next release.
  4. Does the "Test Attract" button work for you? Are you waiting for the GameEx attract mode to start? The default waiting time in GameEx is 4 minutes and then the attract mode starts.
  5. Most of the attract modes are currently focused on RGB LED's, but I am hoping to make a special random attract mode for single LED's (similar to lwa's but generated with code).
  6. 442much: Do you have single or RGB LED lit buttons?

    MAME Folders

Hey Adultery, these icon images will work in the latest version of GameEx right? Any chance you can release the icons along with these lists?
  8. Can you setup your mouse controls outside of GameEx (in Mame), then run Mame within GameEx and have access to your mouse then?
  9. Yep, I just tested, if you don't do an update list it will cause that error. I will fix that, cheers. EDIT: 1.69 now fixes the error if you don't have the list updated
  10. I'm going to release another version of chankast_launch soon with ChankEx support removed. This is because ChankEx has changed to be a plugin and no longer works with my wrapper anyway. I'll take a look then, and perhaps you can test the CPU thing for me.

    sega model 2

Just download Model2 in the Emulator Download section of the Setup Wizard, then enable Model2 support in the Setup Wizard, make sure your path to the Model2 emu is right, and that is it.
  12. Yeah go ahead if you want. I've just sort of chucked it in there for now so it flashes P1/P2 start buttons. It's mainly just to see if it works. So yeah test it out and get back to me if you can.
  13. hehe Thanks I did find a major bug which has been effecting alot of things

    Plugin Problem

Those errors are normal (for the debug version anyway). But it could be the theme your using or something, try setting your theme to a standard one. It could be the large fonts your using or anything. Try Windows XP and Windows Classic themes. See if that makes a difference.
  15. Version 1.68 resolves the issue with MameInterop when it's enabled.
  16. LCD/LED Plugin 1.67 Thanks for the report 442much. Hopefully I've fixed those problems you've mentioned. Please try again. Oh btw the attract mode should start when you leave GameEx for about 10 minutes I think the default is. When it goes into attract mode then the LEDWiz plugin should start attract mode. Can you check that is working? Attract mode will not play if your just running a game and leave it for a while. That might change in the future.
  17. LCD/LED Plugin 1.66 - Added support for MikeQ's new ledwiz.dll. Would you believe all this time the LEDWiz actually goes up to 49 levels of intensity not 48? Any value below that is a modulated signal which may cause problems for operating devices other than the LED boards from GGG.
  18. Hey slipstream can you give detail on what you changed to get the batch file working for 98?

    Plugin Problem

Also, try this debug version. It should only give two error messages about ledwiz.dll and possibly Mame.dll. The other error messages you should post about here. PluginManagerDebug.zip
  20. Hehe you got me! Yes it's a bug and it's already fixed and Tom has the new version. He will release it along with his next update. Thanks for the heads up anyway lingpanda!
  21. LCD/LED Plugin 1.65 - Uses Mame Interop (Mame.dll) to receive events from Mame in realtime and sends them to the LEDWiz (Eg. Flashing start buttons) This is a new feature that hasn't been tested yet. Alot of the newer stuff will be sorted when I get my LEDWiz and be able to test things myself. Mame Interop is something I have developed with the help of Howard Casto and will be releasing source code for other developers to use also. There is more that I will do with Mame Interop for this plugin like output scores for some games to LCD's. Stay tuned.
  22. I just downloaded the themes and tested the "Default - Custom V2 Default 1024x768" in the Theme editor and it displays okay in the editor. So do you mean it's not displaying correctly in GameEx? If so you may need to report that as a bug for Tom.
  23. Doh! I forgot to add back in the attract mode, so I've fixed it for 1.61. I'm not sure why it's not speaking your buttons, others have reported that as working, so I'm not sure. I will have to look into it when I get my gear. As for the wrong buttons lighting up, that's another thing I'm not sure about. It's difficult to see these things without visual feedback. If you can post your LED.ini file and write down the games that have buttons lighting up wrongly (also show me which buttons they should and shouldn't be showing for the game). BTW If the game isn't in controls.ini it won't light up the buttons for the game because there is no information about which buttons to light up, so it should light the buttons you have set in the config instead (I might make an option to just have them turn off instead). I can add an option to have certain inputs perminately lit, no problems. Nice idea
  24. No just copy the new plugin files over the old ones. Sorry about that, I introduced that bug with the big code overhaul recently. Should be fixed in 1.6 BETA. Let me know if there are any problems. I am getting sent my LEDWiz gear as we speak so little bugs like this shouldn't appear anymore because I will be able to test it on my cab first. Thanks for your patience and testing. BTW A new feature is coming soon, that will interfact with Mame for some games like DigDug when you insert a coin the start button will flash. Stay tuned the code is almost ready.
  25. I know what you mean about searching zip files, even if you just open a folder containing alot of zips it takes forever because it searches through each archive for some strange reason. There is another fix for this too though.. Run the following command regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll Then install a program like 7Zip/WinZip/WinRAR for managing your zip files. Now Windows dosn't take forever anymore
