  1. Yes this is possible. A great place for videos is EmuMovies aside from doing your own. Example videos can be found at EmuMovies and also the Main GameEx website. Videos should match the name of your roms.
  2. Try the following: messpp.exe apple2e -flop1 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" -joy -now -nonewui I had posted a similar post about this before but don't remember where it is. I'll search later for it. This is based off the supported media for apple2e. Edit: Does this look familiar? LOL.
  3. Can be found in the MEDIA\BEZEL & MEDIA\BEZELV2 directories of your GameEx install. To use other bezels then it needs to be set within MAME itself. Either by the mame.ini config file or by command-line.
  4. This was the cause of it.
  5. Are you running the latest version of GameEx? Tom fixed an issue where this might apply. If not then we'll do some testing and see what we can come up with.
  6. No problem. Have fun.
  7. Thanks Tom!
  8. Maybe the following? Enable/Disable Features >>> Skip Intro >>> YES
  9. A system restore perhaps will put things back the way there were? GameEx shouldn't have affected the bezels so maybe something small got changed and your settings are still there. Just need to do some testing.
  10. My mistake. Thanks for jumping in. I guess I shouldn't assume. But then again I never run into issues. LOL. That's why I posted what was in the help section of that feature.
  11. I just tested this myself on the new HTPC setup and I too am having issues. I will work with Tom on this to resolve. Hope we can find a solution.
  12. The icon MUST BE in the theme's directory that you are using. Then it will be selectable from the drop-down box in the Emulator Setup section.
  13. Emulator Setup >>> Logo Click on the question mark button for more detail on that feature.
  14. The bezel files must be left in the zip format. Then it must be called in MAME which you say you have done. How are you calling the bezels? Are you using a command-line parameter or do you have your settings in the mame.ini file? Please give more details on how you have things setup and we can get you going.
  15. Please post your log so we can see if there's anything useful to troubleshoot. Instructions on how to post your log can be found here by Tempest.
  16. I also had issues with it taking a verrrrry long time to load with recent updates. The solution for me was to reboot and it went back to normal. Nothing in my log was very helpful either. So it was a last resort. Give it a try. Wouldn't hurt.
  17. Run in debug mode in GameEx settings: Emulator Setup >>> Debug Mode >>> Yes Then the command window will show up and show some useful information to why it's not working correctly.
  18. 19. Cool! All from the power of search!
  20. Maybe this thread is of some use. Can't test myself since don't use Power DVD. But something for you to expand on.
  21. Hmmmm. Turn that off and see if that does anything. I have no$zoomer working without an advanced config. That config is strange as is since it shows that it uses DeSmuME as the emulator and no$zoomer is for emulator no$gba. Unless it works for both. Unaware since I use no$gba since rated a better emulator. Maybe that's causing issues. No! Sorry! Don't now how to make Power DVD Launch but sure it's a simple process. I'll see if I can find a solution.
  22. That is a mamewah theme. According to the Theme Editor, a mamewah theme can be converted over to GameEx. Lots of mamewah themes out there that might suite your needs.
  23. I noticed that you're using an advanced config. What are the details of that config? Maybe something there is making GameEx take back focus.
  24. Hmmm. All is working fine on my end here. Set Show Desktop to No in Emulator Setup. That shouldn't matter really but something to try. What's strange is when I start that emulator, I'm unable to switch screens because of that setting (Always on top). So I would think that would force it to be on top of GameEx since for some reason GameEx is taking back focus.
  25. Your command-line looks correct. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the emulator is not set to be on top. If you right-click in the emulator, there will be a Always on top setting that you can check.
