  1. Just set Show Desktop to TRUE in Emulator Setup. These are all features of GameEx as well so why the need for a bat file? GameEx will also show the loading screen while this process is being done.
  2. GameEx does have iso support and using the [virtualdrive] parameter is what activates it. So removing it would not make it run and you can use daemon tools instead. But now you're saying it's not working. Can you give more details as far as it not working? Please follow the directions found here and troubleshoot from the command-line using run last game found in step 4 of that post.
  3. Just tested ZiNc using Windows 7 x64 and it works fine. What kind of problems exactly were you having? Any errors? It worked for me first try and didn't use any kind of compatibility mode or anything.
  4. First thing I notice is that daemon tools is being used as well as virtual clone drive (GameEx integration). I would think that's conflicting. If you have daemon tools, then remove the [-VIRTUALDRIVE-] from the command-line. Try that and then we'll continue to troubleshoot some more.
  5. You are very welcome! Welcome to the forums!
  6. According to your post, loaders are being used. Be sure to verify the loader location however loaders for those emulators are not needed. Run in debug mode to see the error it gives and it will help in figuring out why they won't load. I personally would just use the following syntax: nestopia.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" Perhaps for BSNES (don't use that emulator so this is untested) bsnes.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"
  7. Well if you're wanting perfect dumps then the best solution would be to rebuild your set to the No-Intro naming convention. They only include those types of dumps in their dats. Dat-o-Matic also gives you options of pruning based on filters (e.g. Language, Region, etc.). Clrmamepro just requires dats and then renames the files based on that dat. There are many tutorials around on how to do so. We can help to a point but to give full directions on how to use clrmamepro would be hard as there are many features and I haven't seen a document yet that covers them all. My knowledge of it comes from years of usage. Try the basics and if you get stuck then we can help you.
  8. Complete! Can be found in the stickied thread in my post. Also the link is in my signature. The older version was archived for users who don't upgrade as often. Let me know if you have any problems or questions.
  9. Choose one. You can test them if you want. You can either change the name in the command line for ZiNc or you can rename the one of your choice to renderer.znc. Then just run the runitgame.bat file again. All this is always easiest to run from command-line as this is how GameEx makes things run. I always test there first.
  10. Now continuing with those directions, please add the pause line to end of the file as mentioned so that you can see the error that the window is giving. Then come back and post those contents here.
  11. No worries as no rules were broken and we are just talking images. But since some of those sites do include rom images, so because of that they can't be mentioned.
  12. The easiest would be to use the GameEx integration. As far as it not working, what I would suggest is for you to run a game and then exit GameEx. Then use the Run Last Game feature in your GameEx\Utilities folder found on your start menu. That will run the console and hopefully give us some useful information. Then please post the contents of that file. Instructions of how to do so can be found here by our Mod Tempest. It's our first step.
  13. How is it that you have it setup. Are you using GameEx's integration or you using as a standalone emulator?
  14. http://gamesdbase.com does not include games. Discussion of obtaining or downloading roms is not allowed in this forum. Please read the rules first. This post has been reported. We will be glad to help you with your other questions once you verify that you understand the rules.
  15. EmuMovies No-Intro Screenshot Archive A lot of previous image sites are not available. There's plenty of sites out there that provide these images but will rename nameless due to rules of the forums. Google is your friend.
  16. Not the GameEx folder but is included with your ArcadeVGA. If not then the utility can be downloaded at the Ultimarc site.
  17. Working fine for me here as well.
  18. MAP files will only display the roms listed in the MAP file. So since that MAP file was filtered, it will only display those 30. If you want the MAP file for a full set then they can be found in the stickied submission thread. Also there is a link to my posts in my signature. As far as MAP files for Nintendo and Atari, they are not really necessary. How are you rom names coming up short? Please give more detail. If you just want to show all your roms in the list then just let GameEx generate the MAP file for you. If you want a filtered listing (e.g. region, language, no clones, etc.) then that's where a MAP file would be useful. If you want something within that scope then let me know. Now for ZiNc. That really depends on you. I have them setup both ways for reason of support here in the forums. The easiest method is to use the GameEx integration. GameEx does a wonderful job of integrating ZiNc. It really would be system dependant in that case for some roms. However, many of the same roms are listed as imperfect in MAME which is why there is the option of using ZiNc to run them in GameEx instead of MAME.
  19. Thanks Tom! Great news!
  20. "Jungle King (Japan) - junglek" is the parent ROM as mentioned at MAWS. If ever in doubt then you can check the parent/clone relationship at MAWS as well as other sources.

No problem. Details on how to get to work can be found in my signature. Also the files needed can be downloaded there as well. Look in the loader section of that topic. Only file you need to generate is the Advanced Config which I do not include since users will require different settings for it. Let me know if you have any more questions or if documentation is not clear so I can edit it.

Now that's where It get's tricky. It requires a map file and editing of the bat file used to launch it. I'll give full details on the matter when I get home to my machine.

ParaJVE does take a little tweaking to work in a front end but it's something I could easily do and help you with. Also here if you wanna get working in MESS.

Have a look here. Sorry we didn't get to you sooner. I guess this post got buried under other posts. If that doesn't work then post back and we'll try to troubleshoot. Note that I recommend ParaJVE. It comes with all the files needed to run and it runs very well IMO.
  25. Again, we're sorry about that. If you have any questions regarding the info you were looking for then feel free to post them and we'll help as much as possible and perhaps it's info someone still remembers.
