  1. Well I just downloaded and read the documentation to come up with the answer. This is what was taken from the whatsnew.txt: So following those instructions the command-line would be: core.exe [ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE] Note: Notice there are no quotes around the file name that a majority of emulators require. Using them would cause an error so using the suggested command-line makes it run just fine from GameEx. I have tested and verified this method.
  2. No problem. Glad you got it sorted out. Have fun!
  3. Still having problems with EmuZWin in Windows 7. I did have more luck with ZXSpin however. Try the following command-line: ZXSpin.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" It can't find the rom cuz you're not including the path in the command-line. Not really a solution but EmuZWin just seems to have problems with Windows 7. I'm sure there might be a work around but I'm not willin to spend too much time on it. LOL. ZXSpin did get a better review on one of my frequently visited sites. So worth a try. If not then Spectaculator I'm sure is a great front-end since still in development and commercial. But I'm all for the free ones especially when it comes to emulation.
  4. I can vouch for these as well. I got them about a month ago for my mom. She's hooked. My sister even comes over just to play. LOL. I have both along with one other. Dad is happy that mom isn't going to the Casino as much. Thanks for the share.
  5. I too was having issues while testing for you trying to get it to go fullscreen from command-line using Win7. I'll do some more testing when I get home which won't be later tonight. About 4 hours after this post. I'll do some research from emulation sites I visit frequently to see what the recommended emulator for this system is.
  6. I'm a little confused about your post as your topic title states you're using Spectaculator and yet your command line shows EmuZWin. So which are you using so I can test for you? As far as EmuZWin I would use the following: EmuZWin.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" /PAUSED /FULLSCREEN /ESCEXIT Your posted /PAUSE switch wasn't in EmuZWin's documentation. The correct switch is /PAUSED. I'll wait for your answer so I can test your problems.
  7. There was problems with the loading screen not stretching full screen so I believe Tom removed it.
  8. The log.txt file is located in the LOG directory of your GameEx install.
  9. Working great now. Thanks Tom!
  10. Along with what Tom posted, this can also be changed using an advanced config.
  11. Site is back up and running.
  12. Try running game again and if you have the same results then try running in debug mode to see what could be causing it. Maybe something got turned off or switched. Can always post the runitgame.bat file's contents here so we can have a look see.
  13. Can also click on my signature. I have a list that will be frequently updated with suggested emulators for that system and their command-line. Best place to look is emulator sites since that's what their dedicated to. Lots of them out there with emulators that have been voted on and tested by the emulation community. I would start there first.
  14. Just follow these instructions previously posted.
  15. It depends on the wrapper you're referring to. The original one included with GameEx was required previously and was used when PinMAME tables were used. I haven't really set those up so not sure if it's still required. I know Tempest wrote one to hide the loading interface. I say if it works without then don't use.
  16. No problem! I have no problems pointing out idiocy.
  17. There's not a standard setting to switch to fullscreen but there is a hot key that can be configured to supposedly switch to fullscreen. But after testing I couldn't get to work and according to the posted issues page, there was a mentioned problem with it. It seems this emulator is based on Mednafen's code so the next version of Mednafen will also be something to look out for.
  18. Here's a start. Also browse the FAQ's as they are helpful. Try getting something going and then post when you have a problem so we can help you. GameEx has so many features and settings that it's hard just to give support without a starting point. Try setting up a system and we'll help if you get stuck. Welcome to GameEx.
  19. First can look here! And then here!
  20. Thanks Tom!
  21. No prob! Glad you got it sorted out. Have fun!
  22. I have it working fine here after testing with version 9.0.7 using the following: VPinball907.exe -play -"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" If you're using a different version then please state it so that I can test. It's the same command line parameters I've used in the past.
  23. Thanks Tom!
  24. Taken from the readme: Note the text highlighted in blue.
  25. Perhaps they're not enabled? There's a drop down to enable them in either configurations.
