  1. Very nice! Thanks Tom!
  2. Thank for verifying, Circo!
  3. What other filters do you have? Something obviously is going on in that end since it's not showing what you're expecting to. Might wanna upload your gameex.ini so we can have a look see.
  4. Yes. That's how it works! Can actually put them in any folder you want. Just have to point to them in configuration.
  5. Yes it should work if you dump them all into one folder. Most frontends are like that. I think Circo broke them up into subfolders because of the magnitude of the files. I think I remember reading something about having problems with too many files in the same folder which is why they were broken up.
  6. Thanks again Circo and the EmuMovies team. We at GameEx appreciate all that you do. Also thanks to Tom for his work on this. Can't wait to see it incorporated into GameEx.
  7. If you're system has been offline for that long, a couple of things I would try is updating any graphics drivers. Also might wanna try updating the codecs as well.
  8. I'm not sure something that old would work but can give it a go. Simply apply the key to the registry and it will register GameEx. If it doesn't work then e-mail Tom for a key that will work.
  9. Having them in sub-folders is the problem. GameEx only support rom in folders. Not artwork! So solution would either to be, put them all in one folder. Or create hard links to them and you can keep the structure of how you have them now.
  10. I remember some posts a long time ago about problems with certain things using launch before. My suggestion would be to try the Also Launch setting in Emulator Setup. If that doesn't work then another solution would be to create a script to launch no$gba with no$zoomer. If scripted correctly then GameEx won't steal focus when trying to launch.
  11. Tom! I can not duplicate this issue. My video snaps show instantly when switching games.
  12. Well I don't have a Dingoo I do have a GP2X F-200. It sits in my closet and is never used. LOL. Brand new in the box and all. It's cool if you'll actually utilize it. I personally was gonna purchase the Dingoo as well but there's a new version out and with the release of the Pandora as Brian suggested, I decided to wait. For the price it's not a bad option for what it's capable of doing.
  13. Easiest solution would be to just reinstall and select the full version instead of the lite version. This will rewrite the registry. Or the other solution would be to change the registry. I can't remember the exact location since not at my machine but I can tell you later if you decide to go that route.

    Zinc issues....

Good deal! I know your frustration. I wish they all at least stayed in some sort of standard instead of reading each help file or searching for the correct parameters. It gets very overwhelming.

    Zinc issues....

If using GameEx's ZiNc integration then the path will be assigned by GameEx and will point to the MAME roms path. If using as a stand alone emulator then you need to use the correct parameters needed to run the rom. Something along the lines of: ZiNc.exe ----roms-directory="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" --renderer=.\renderer.znc Most emulators are command-line driven. It's how they work. It's how GameEx makes them run. Not a thing of a past. If they weren't command-line driven then how would u run a rom outside of running from the GUI?

    Zinc issues....

Which method did you choose to launch?
  17. Thanks for the new release Tom!
  18. I've reported this one to Tom so he can have a look see. So let's wait for him to respond to hopefully help you out.
  19. Instead of posting the pics, for troubleshooting purposes, it's best to export your config and post. I see 2 things wrong with that config. 1st thing I notice is that you have too many quotes in the launch before as suggested by my first link. The 2nd problem is that you're using 2 ways of mounting the image based on this thread. Please fix those 2 issues and if you still have problems then export your config.
  20. It's within GameEx itself. It's one of the options along side of Change View, Back, Home, & Exit within the selected emulator where it displays the list of roms. Note that a snap path must be set for it to work. If the option is not available then make sure that Hide Create Snaps is set to No in Enable/Disable Features.
  21. News: It's back up and running again.
  22. That's correct! I'm unaware of a setting to change this as well. It defaults to the MAME path location.
  23. Well, as I mentioned before, having them unzipped is best IMO. It's just faster to load the disc image. But to each his/her own. If using Daemon Tools then would want to add the command-line in the Launch Before. There are many examples in the forums. I'll try to find you one here in a few. Here's an example. Might need some tweaking based on location among other things. But something to get you started.
  24. Note that having them zipped in one file would take some time to unzip them before they can be ran. So that's a matter of preference. I personally don't care to have disc images zipped as that can take awhile. If you want to go that route then the correct way to list would be to add the *.bin or *.cue filter (depending on which one is needed to run the disc image). Then set the Zip/7-Zip/GoodMerge setting to Yes in Emulator Setup (A registered only feature). GameEx will list the zipped images for you and when selected, it will display the file needed to run the image. According to your title, you have them unzipped. If unzipped then having the filter should show them based on that filter. If not then please post your config for that emulator. My guess is that maybe you have them in their own folders and you don't have the Scan Sub Folders in Emulator Setup set to Yes. If that's the case then that would explain why they are not showing up in the list.
