LOL. Yeah! I wasn't much for it either. I reverted back to XP and in no hurry to go back to Vista.

Just display the command line settings in Daphne Loader to see what exactly is needed to run that game. 1. Click Game 2. Click Configure DAPHNE options 3. Click on the Advanced tab 4. Enable Display command line Now run your game and use that info in GameEx!

Are you using the -fullscreen switch in your command line options?

If you used goodtools for your naming convention, should just trying goodmerging them and then use GameEx to play as it supports GoodMerge ROMs.

Have no idea in this department. Maybe Brian could be of help. I know he's familiar with batch files. As far as the script I could come up with something but would have to be later as I'm not at home.

Well creating a script to do this is fairly easy so give me time to verify that I can't run zipped files as is. What naming format did you use to rename? My roms are in the No-Intro format. Just curious to see what others are running.

Tempest and I talked about this before and I could never get WinVice to run my zipped roms either. I tried using MESS and was able to run in there. WinVice says it handles zip files but I haven't had any luck doing so. I haven't had time to troubleshoot it so will as soon as I get a chance. Another solution would be to make a script to temporarily unzip the file and then run and then delete after it closes.

I haven't seen a map for C64 for the names should fine. Just use the latest dat from no-intro and rename your roms using clrmame or romcenter. Or can use good tools. Which ever you prefer.

I haven't had time to play with it myself but he said he had it working outside of GameEx So maybe it does. I'll have to mess around with it tomorrow and see what I come up with. When I first tried I couldn't get zips to work nor controls.

Your problem for what I can see is that you have your ROMs in subfolders. Try putting all ROMs into one folder or just try pointing to one of the folders you already have to verify.

Hey All! Just wanted to let you know that DatUtil v2.38 now supports output for GameEx maps per my request! Also includes filters so can sort by region for those who want to sort their roms. Click here to view new features! Now just use a dat file and it will put in the known format. romname.zip|gamename This will save lots of time so no need for me to creat regular expressions to do this anymore. Haven't had time to test yet but just saw that it was included in the latest release. Will test out today when I get home. Many thanks goes out to Logiqx!
