You have a space after the quotes and not after the executable. Yours: Command=VirtuaNES.exe" [ROMPath]\[RomFile]" Mine: Command=VirtuaNES.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"

Should just copy and paste from my config cuz he is having keyboard problems.

Please try running from commandline first. Click Start >> Run.. >> Type cmd >> Click Ok Type this exactly. This is based off the info you've given. cd C:\Emulators\VirtuaNES >>click enter virtuanes.exe >>and drag one of your roms to this window It should run. And you didn't follow my directions. You gave me the contents of the gameex log found in a whole different directory then what I told you.

Try these steps and post the results. 1. Run commandline by clicking on Start >> Run.. >> Type in cmd >> Click OK 2. On the commandline type cd c:\program files\gameex\data 3. Then type type runitgame.bat Let's see the results of that. Everything you need to do exact is in bold. When setting up GameEx, always run outside of GameEx first to make sure all is working correctly. And when we mention verify it's working out of GameEx first, we mean from commandline not windows.

Well you have to be doing something wrong. Hard for us to tell what you're doing on your end as we already covered all the needed things to do. I have it working just fine on my end. We need to go through a few things so just PM me.

Here's my config to compare. Only change I made was in the NES.ini to run fullscreen all the time so no need to send keys. Change LoadFullscreen=1. Default is 0. You're using the NES database. Just clear that entry. Can be found on the 3rd page of emulator setup in GameEx Setup Wizard.

Mine looks like yours except not using the database. Also my roms are zipped but that shouldn't matter. Also I see your using the send keys as well. No need to do that. So delete everything in the send keys and and wait before keys section.

LOL. Great! Well I just verified with commandline and I got it to work just fine with: VirtuaNes.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" I personally use Nestopia. But don't see why you can't use VirtuaNes if I have it working.

    VIRTUALNES

LOL. Looked funny to me too. Downloaded it really quick to verify. Haven't used that emulator so had to make sure.

VirtualNes's executable is VirtuaNes.exe not VirtualNes.exe. Lose the "L" and see if that works.

Try launching your roms in quotes. virtualnes.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"
  16. Nice! Thanks Tom! Good job.
  17. Circo uses No-Intro naming conventions and GoodName for those systems that No-Intro doesn't support. Shows the naming conventions for his collections on the info buttons of the system.
  18. Emulation64 is a good source. Usually keep up-to-date with new releases.
  19. Post it's contents or just zip it.
  20. Here's my mednafen commandline and it works. My roms are zipped: mednafen.exe -fs 1 -lynx.xres 640 -lynx.yres 480 -lynx.stretch 1 "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" As far as mess, greatflash is correct. Also make sure you have the msx rom for it to work. Or you could always use the emulator blueMSX.
  21. Question Tom? What extensions are used to list karaoke? Only cdg & mp3? I ask this because the beta version of DX Karaoke now supports zips as well which is the format I use for my karaoke. So wonder if there's a way to list my karaoke with the zip extension and also if subfolders will ever be implemented so that I don't have to put all my karaoke files into one directory?
  22. Ahhh. Ok. Thanks Tom! Thought I was just doing something wrong on my end this time around.
  23. That is correct. Another one for Tempest! . It's been the only way i've been able to update to the latest release lately. Updating within GameEx hasn't worked for me with the last few versions.
  24. I haven't had much luck either with the upgrade lately. Best is to just download the newest version from the main page and install over your previous version.
  25. Nice Tom! Well the reason I never saw them was cuz I only use the Atari 2600 & 7800 goodsets and don't see any regions within those systems. But nice addition. Would be cool to work with no-intro sets as well. Thanks for the info Tom!
