  1. Just the snaps? Well looks like Circo is using the naming convention off the 20080210 dat as you explained and the current dat is 20080711. Either way it's gonna take some work unfortunately. I personally wouldn't do it manually. If you know AutoHotKey or AutoIt then you could get creative and do something with those to make things easier using a little logic. Naming them one by one can get tedious.
  2. LOL. Looks like we posted at the same time of my directions. LOL. Oh well. Glad you got it figured out. Now we need to figure this one out. Which system does this refer to?
  3. In the Scanner option look to the bottom left of the Scan Results window and you'll see Set Information. There you'll notice there are check boxes next to each rom. Now where it says Set Selection you can use regex to select the roms you want (i.e. *(USA)* for USA roms depending on the dat). Post the No-Intro dats you're using and I can be more helpful in this area. Then close the window and go to he Rebuilder option and hoping you know how to do this then where it says Source then choose your current rom folder and Destination will be where you wanna be rebuild (Must be another folder). Make sure Remove Matched Sourcefiles is not checked! So that you don't erase your current roms. Very Important! And then simply rebuild. It will then rebuild your sets and clean it up the way you're wanting and will maintain the No-Intro naming convention. If you have any troubles then you can always IM me and I'll guide you through it. Just send me a private message and I'll give you my username. Good luck! Hope it helps.
  4. Well would have to create your own maps to show what you want. From your earlier post it seems you wanna filter out foreign languages. There's different ways you could go. 1. Keep Adultery's naming convention and rename your images/videos manually. 2. Create a map file listing the language you want after rebuilding your set back to No-Intro. 3. In clrmamepro you could rebuild your set using the No-Intro dat and then use regex in the set information window to list only the language you want. But if you already have the language you want then your set should just need renaming. 4. Also can use GameEx to filter those games out but still need to rebuild your set. Either way you're looking to rename your roms back to No-Intro or continue using Adultery's set and rename your images/videos. I know this has come up before so don't know if Adultery has been working on supplying images/videos for his dats. Adultery might wanna pop in and see what he has to say. Map files are easy to make if you know regex. If not then I don't suggest using this method as it can take a lot of work but will give you what you're wanting.
  5. Unless Adultery starts doing this for his dats then you're gonna have to do it manually. Might be a way by comparing crc's and then renaming accordingly but sounds like lots of work. No disrespect to Adultery but IMO the way to go is using maps to list your roms instead of renaming so when there's an update or in your case needing Circo's files that they will match up.
  6. Great job Circo! Keep up the good work!
  7. Great post. Hope maybe some day that it will be part of GameEx so we don't have to find other ways. Hope Tom can add it at some point in time as it's a request we see often.
  8. As far as roms are concerned IMO I think creating a wrapper to do this is much more simple. Simply create a map file with all the roms in the list and then create a wrapper to run the rom in the specified subfolder. I accomplished this with my pinball collection. Very simple to do.
  9. Happy Birthday!
  10. What's your commandline? Not in front of my computer but I believe that the option needed is -autorun for it to do what you're wanting. Post your config so we can take a deeper look at your settings for this emulator.
  11. Well if they're running out of GameEx then don't see why they wouldn't run using it. What emulators are you running these 2 systems with? If a wrapper is needed then some of us can help out there in creating one.
  12. I personally wrote a wrapper for it but switched to Mednafen since then. You might wanna try out that emu unless you really prefer Handy.
  13. LOL. Poor Tom! Always being blamed.
  14. But of course but only way of doing it from what they're wanting in this situation. I think it's not really worth doing IMO. But it is possible but as bkenobi says,
  15. You can compile your version of MAME to do this using HK's MAME Compiler located in the pinned topics (top of the forum).
  16. The way I would go about this is to create a map file with the list of roms your wanting and then script a loader to run the emu based off that list of roms. Maybe an ini file could be read easily for the list of games to run the specific emulator.
  17. This could be cuz the game is nonworking or cuz your version of roms doesn't match your version of mame. Please give more info as to what version of roms and mame you are using. Also verify they run outside of GameEx.
  18. A mode button enables 6-button mode in 6-button compatible games.
  19. Try putting the quotes after the executable. So will look like the following. start "c:\Program Files\GameEX\Utilites\No Mousy\nomousy.exe" /h
  20. I didn't know it either and now I can script pretty much anything. All it takes is some looking into. You don't need luck. You'll be alright.
  21. Man you guys make things way too complicated. Its best to make a script using autoit or autohotkey and perform all your actions. Then after exiting your pc game then have it close all other processes. That way you only have one executable and it will give focus to GameEx upon exit and you won't be running into all these problems.
  22. Hope you have a good day as well Brian. Congrats on your first Father's Day. I remember mine many years ago.
  23. It gives you a list.
  24. Very true. I use no-intro except when systems aren't supported. In that case I use tosec and Goodmerge as well. It's all preference really.
  25. 2 for the price of 1. LOL.
