  1. What folders do you mean Brian? Ran my log file and it seems that game ex is running the map rom name. For example: Running: cmd.exe /c C: vivanonno_wrapper.exe Ridge Racer (Japan-A) instead of Running: cmd.exe /c C: vivanonno_wrapper.exe rr1 I thought map files were just a more readable name from the original rom name in GameEx. Doesn't rename the actual rom. When using map files this shouldn't be happening right? Never had this problem before.
  2. LOL. Yes I'm sure this thread will be deleted once one of the Mods sees it.
  3. LOL. No problem. Thanks for deleting and welcome to the forum. Have fun!
  4. Plain and simple. Here's the rules to the site.
  5. Yup this is a big NO NO here! You're not allowed to ask where to get ROMs.
  6. Can NOT run roms when map file is used. So is this a GameEx issue? Thought it was cosmetic till today when I couldn't run the files with map file. Any ideas?
  7. Cool! Thanks! Thought I was loosing my mind and doing something wrong. Thanks for the info. And yes! Great place to have in folder and just noticed it when I was pointing to my own map folder. Thanks for that Tom!
  8. No problem! Glad you got it after looking for so long. LOL.
  9. Looks like a broken link. Sure it will be up soon but can be downloaded here.
  10. Thanks Tempest but not really what the problem is. Map files can not be verified with GameEx Setup Wizard. Again it gives a double extension. Example: emulator.map.map So that when I point to a map file it says it does not exist when it does. Headkaze? Maybe something in the coding? No big deal. Is purely cosmetic. It works just doesn't verify.
  11. Hello all. Just curious if the mapfiles were removed for example Vivanonno? Just wrote a new loader for it with AutoIt and will release within next few days. While testing my loader I pointed vivanonno to the map file I found in the MAP FILES Directory and It exists yet when I verify settings through GameEx Setup Wizard I get an error that it doesn't. Seems to be working in GameEx but In GameEx Setup Wizard it seems that it's not getting verified because it has a double extension. For example: System Name.map.map
  12. There is another generic wrapper that i know of. Haven't tried it personally but might be worth giving a try. I looked into it to see how it works and should do the same as the other known one. It can be found here and the one you need is the Generic Command Line Wrapper 7.0 and is preconfigured for Zinc.
  13. Happy Birthday Tom! Thanks for all your work! It's always appreciated.
  14. Mine works without the keyboard hooked up. Just mapped my keys and unplugged the keyboard and all is working fine.
  15. I also have an xarcade and it works fine. I recommend it for the price.
  16. Great topic! Working on that today. I'll post what I come up with.
  17. Glad you finally got it working! I know you've been going crazy over it! LOL. Great job! I didn't even think of that problem. Would have been nice to know your screen was horizontal. Have fun!
  18. Duhhhh I guess I should have looked at the post. LOL. Sorry.
  19. What Datset(Naming Convention) did you use to generate these Nologic?
  20. Yeah dust has always been a problem for me with those issues. I spray mine with compressed air about once a month. Just live in a place with a lot of dirt.
  21. Yeah I don't see why it shouldn't be working. I have everything the same as you except for the resolution which i tried with your settings and still didn't see a GUI. The latest build is 0.50.6. I agree with Nologic about that being the GUI version.
  22. Mines working just fine so seeing where you went wrong. Give me a few.
  23. Just got home so gonna play around with it now for you.
  24. I'm sure it's just as Brian says. I've heard him mention that many times. Let us know how it turns out!
  25. try -nogui in the command line option. Found it on the Raine emulator website. I don't have it set up where I am now or I would try for you but hey give it a try!
