  1. Not aproblem, tried to e-mail you some I've done for you try and see if they work, but for some reason they wouldn't go. I'll wait until you upload the theme before I work on anymore. I do have a suggestion on console screens. Add a snap of the boxart to each screen so you can see the box art work along with the video.
  2. Thanks Tom
  3. Been asked before. But would love to see folders like under movies etc. for systems. Example : Sega Genesis -No-Intro -TOSEC -Prototypes -Hacks Right now I have to set up a seperate emulator for each of these. Doing it like above I have one emulator setup, but can open any of the folders and see and run only ther games under that folder
  4. Welcome back, Any chance of releasing the theme so those of us who want to make game screens can start to help. I've made a couple but can't try them out to ensure they work without being able to run the theme. Once some of us start making them you can start a forum here for their submittal. Would help to make a lot of thmes in a short period.
  5. Thanks Tom
  6. Love it Krakerman. I too would be interested in creating some game screens. I actually talked about this a while back and no one thought it could be done easily. Have you uploaded your theme so those of us that want to help can start using the theme and make screens for it. Also what tells GameEx to use a particular screen with a certrain game.
  7. Thanks to all
  8. Thanks Toms and Adultery
  9. Actually I do this now. I put the Logos in one of the custom art folders if available and rename them as the games. Don't like the grid view. I've seen videos from Adultry's megamame theme and he has a picture behind his game list. Don't believe that it changes by game. Wondering how he does this and is there a way to change it per game. Thanks for your input Draco
  10. Loving all these logos. Everyone is doing excellent work. Can a logo be showed in the game list panel box. For instance kaceytayclare is working on all the system sets. It would be awesome if, as you scroll thru your system list, the video plays on the side and you could place the logo in the game list. As you scroll systems the video changes and the logo changes in the list box. As you scroll the game lis,t the video changes, the box etc changes and the logo in the list box changes to match the game. If this would work we could actually make logos for each game. Or maybe down the line, we could play the videos from Emumovies in the listbox. I know you can put an image in the box (don't know how) I've seen it in several of our users videos. It may need to be hardwired and can't be changed.
  11. Thanks all
  12. We using plates now Hell this is Texas, we eat our BBQ on paper. Maybe its a cost thing
  13. Thanks as always.
  14. Thanks Tom
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Thanks Tom
  17. Thanks all. What scares me is we all understand what Draco says. He may have to get a larger room for all to join hi.

No Problem Tom. That fixed it. Is the resume a new default because I don't recall ever having that option checked
  19. Thanks Draco, Yes I'm a man and a old one at that. Turned 59 today. In my younger days (The 70's) I was a screen double for Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica which is why I took the computer name. And I'm not much of a coffee drinker. The cost of a starbuck would cut into my gaming budget.
  20. Have played with and acually like it. I do think with some changes it would work well with GameEx. The biggest change needed by GameEx would be to allow multiple folders for roms like we have in videos. Without that feature you gain nothing because you have to set up a seperate emulator for each system. This is what I do now with MESS and I've got it setup as a seperate emulator over 100 times for various systems. If you could access MESS or UME one time and it list the various systems on the next screen, then go to that system for a list of roms, snaps etc. It would be awesome. I do the same setup for my various systems. I like keeping my No-Intro, Hacks and homebrew seperatefrom each other for various systems so I have so set up a emulator seperately for each of sets of roms. I do beleive the short time goal is to have MAME and Mess combined for development.

I just upgarded to the above version. I'm using the megamame theme. I get the attached error file. If I change to the default gamex theme it works fine. I've checked and I have the latest Directx file. I have done both a automatic and a manual update. 14:29:28.1 6/5/2012: Opening Configuration File 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: GameEx: Version 12.65: Starting Log 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Operating System Platform: Win32NT 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Operating System Name: Windows XP 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Operating System Version: 5.1.2600 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T6570 @ 2.10GHz, 2940MB 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: 2.09Ghz - 2 Cores or CPU's 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Running Randomize() 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Loading PlugIns 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Checking for applications to Launch On Startup 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Running Misc startup tasks 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Setting Menu types 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Getting Configuration Values 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Using Theme: Default - MegaMame - 1680x1050 14:29:28.2 6/5/2012: Checking for alternate Image Directory for Theme: Default - MegaMame - 1680x1050 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Launching HideOS.exe 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Initialising Video/MNG DLL's 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: CPWizard enabled 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: GameEx will check for media insertion (may affect performance) 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Hiding Taskbar 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Is Media Center running? 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Checking/Creating LCD Registry values 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Check Media Center Exit/Start Mode 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Media Center Mode 2 14:29:28.3 6/5/2012: Video previews on.
