This is my first theme and it is based off of various themes made by members of the GameEx forums. I've tried to take the things I liked in various themes and incorporated them into this theme. This theme allows users to use the default system themes or replace with their own. The game themes made by Krakman, KRC and myself ,all will work with this theme. Users cam make their own game themes and share with the rest of the Gameex community. The theme is available at the theme download page A huge big thanks to the various makers of the themes I so shamelessly borrowed from.

Looks good, I just completed my theme based on yours and about 10 others in the theme section, it too supports all the great themes. you, KRC and myself are making. Maybe with multiple themes using your idea , others will start making themes. Hopefully by Monday I can upload it to the themes section.

My thansks for the answers. My goal this week end is to hook up that second monitor. Has anyone played a second monitor on the wall above their flatscreen tv. Would love to pictures of that running.

I'll have to hook up a secondary monitor and run your plug-in. Based on what the demo shows, when you switch to a different game a different theme shows. Contra, super mario or whatever. Since Kraks themes are only a png file It seems to me that it would be simple for the plug in to use that png on the second monitor. I'm sute i'm not thinking about this correctly so excuse me for my stupidity.

Looks great Adultery. Is there a way to incorporate all the themes, myself , KRC and Krak have made for Kraks theme. Think it would look great if these themes could show on the top monitor with the video playing while yours or anyone elses theme played on the main monitor with your info plugin being showed. Last count had about 400 themes currently made.

Still trying to figure out how to link them from drop box

Got a drop acount now. Just need to figure out out to put the lin ks to the files on Gameex. Should pass 250 thems by this weekend. Now I need to share them.

I like Hyperspin but for my TV or laptop i want more organization. Saying this I like Kraks approach but still want some organization and info. Playing around I found that its fairly easy to incorporate his ideas into almost very theme. I use Megamame for its detail and amount of info displayed.on my TV. I use Kraks on my cabinet for the fun look. Perhaps if more themes would use Kraks theme approach, we could get more users interested in making themes. Attached is Megamage using themes to display the games. It is rough and needs some fine tuning but it is do-able. If I could use the box, cart etc screen from Megamame on the last screen after the theme appears, then i would use it on both my tv and cab. From a post I made it appears Gameex currently won't let you use use two different screens Props both to Adultery and Krakerman for brillant themes. .

Let me know if, when and how I can access the FTP and I'll start upping my themes as they are finished. Currently working on N64, TG-16, NES, SMS, Sega 32X, model 3, SNES, Deamcast and Atomicwave. Have done some of each in order to have them working under Gameroom. Work's been hertic lately so have only done about 20 more. Can't upload without deleting existing ones.

Naw, still making themes, work just kicking my butt right now with the holidays. Don't want my own theme, trying to understand them to see if there is any way to improve on the way we use these themes. Have made only about 10 more since my last post. I'm up for the FTP if and when it can be used. Thanks to Tempest and Adultery for their help. Think I have found away where the themes work in anyones themes. After I play with the idea some more I'll post a video.

Decided to dive in and try to make my own theme. There is so many good ones out there and I'm hoping to learn from studing them. One question I can' t seem to figure out is: Can I have a different form for the page where I pick the game from a list and a different and totatly different page for the page where I can view the box, the cartridge etc. If so can one of the theme gods tell me how to do it.

well i finished 12 today and i'n gonna call it a night and go to bed before midnight tonight. Did you look at the video I made Doing it the way i have in the video you will have a default theme for every game even if a theme isn't made yet. I just need a way to have a different default theme per system.

I did mean emubak. I did leave them blank, but they still show up. I think I need to restart my computer to clear the cashe. Currently have over 200 themes made. Getting busy at work so will be slowing down abit

If you rename the above file three times to mubak,bak, and daphnebak and put in that folder the default theme will show for any game you don't have a theme for. I'm gonna play around with this because I'm curious as to if you place a different one in your themes folder named as above,can a different one show per system. To see what I mean do the above and put in you default default folder and see how it works. Perhaps you or KRC who have alot of experience with themes could tell me where to put the default png per system and make it work. check out the avi file in the zip to see how it works.

@Krakerman What is the module, ini, or whatever produces the blue screen when you have no theme for a game ?

Did you setup Daphne as a seperate emulator
