  1. One word. YES I approve of this! Not only did I vote for it last month, I've got years of experience with this, thanks to the Atari 2600 version. The original is a whole different beast. ExedExes - 40,084
  2. I couldn't do anything with the game last month. I probably *watched* more Gunsmoke (on the MeTV digital subchannel here in the US) than played it. Either way, M.O. was due for another title any day now, congrats!
  3. So this be the new game. My experience for this comes from Namco Museum 50th Anniversary (Gamecube) as well as the *easier* NES version. Loops are your friend here. ExedExes - 133,940 (may the switch not go out on this score!)
  4. Good one straight out of nowhere! For some reason I just remember the cameo of Flicky from Super Monaco GP at the Game Over screen. Otherwise, it's good to see here. ExedExes - 240,510
  5. Heh.. Guess I have that kind of effect.
  6. Now I get people to buy games too. It's not ALL about the scores!

You're a bad man, but at least you're not Mr Gum.

  7. I tracked down the complete Epic Pinball series on CD off of Amazon last year. It has the 3 sets of 4 games plus a CD-exclusive table. CRASH AND BURN!
  8. Check out classicdosgames.com! More specifically, check out the freeware section. Many full version games have had their rights released by the original authors and are now legally free to own. One Must Fall 2097, for example (already mentioned), Alien Carnage, Bio Menace, Command & Conquer, Major Stryker, Tyrian 2000, and ZZT! I also have many original Apogee full versions on floppy disk. Raptor is a good shmup, that's also on GOG.
  9. We can circumvent it then. "Hey did you hear about Eee Ayy?" Another fine image - Yeah, speaking of pinball they also bought DICE, makers of some of the finest simulations around like Pinball Dreams and Fantasies. Unacceptable!
  10. This image, not created for this, makes the most sense, because it's typical of EA! Seriously, EA was class back in the day, but they're just like most publishers these days.
  11. My sword of GameEx +1 finally did something good on this sale! Some action/puzzle game it appears to be.
  12. OOOH! I HATES OFFENDERS! Guess I can't be Marshall Dillon quite yet. More like Doc or Festus at this point. ExedExes - 307,050
  13. Lizzie trophy for the Yolympics? Makes sense since I like going on a RAMPAGE!

  14. Coming off a successful February here and at the Yolympics, so time to get to work. My experiences of this have been on a 60-in-1 with only the left and center shot buttons working, so you can imagine how far one can get with just those 2 buttons (to Stage 3 quite consistently!), and of course the NES port that makes you spend your points on a wanted poster before you can even fight the boss. Capcom and 1985 go well -- ExedExes came out then too! The MAME history file says this is based on the television series that lasted for 20 years (a pretty big deal here) -- I highly doubt this is the case. Just the name, I'm sure. Ok, so to business with a real 3 button setup. ExedExes - 289,000
  15. Focusing on what I saved is exactly what I did during last year's Summer Sale, only because I bought so much and got a couple of series bundles at very good discounts. I missed one of the games they were offering for free but a fellow Racketboy member had my back with a free code. I got 37 games there. You're gonna like that one. I got the MOH 10th anniversary collection and it has AA and the 2 expansion packs. otherwise I would have bought it from them.
  16. I've been trying all day for a "critical hit" (what they call their free games), no luck so far. I did manage to pick up some good stuff though. Clive Barker's Undying USD 1.49 (USD 5.99) [75%] (saved 4.50) Cognition: Game of the Year Edition USD 2.99 (USD 14.99) [80%] (saved 12.00) The Witcher: Enhanced Edition USD 1.49 (USD 9.99) [85%] (saved 8.50) Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut USD 4.99 (USD 19.99) [75%] (saved 15.00) So for $11 I saved $40. I love these GOG sales.
  17. Yeah, it's just too bad that I'm "seasoned" myself when it comes to deals on GOG. Last year I was a full participant in Spring Insomnia & Summer Sale (spending $65 and saving almost $300 w/the latter), so a lot of this stuff that's gonna be here is gonna be marked "owned" or is stuff I'm not too interested in. I still have a tab open for it.
  18. Ok so I've been using 8.1 for over a year now and I also use the latest version(s) of MAMEUI64. No issues.
  19. I give him a lot more work than probably anyone else on the HS forum, so happy birthday banner creator
  20. Cosmic Triggers did well, and took GOTM for February. It was a good month :)

Impressive gaming there E.E! You've been the one to beat since you arrived, but expectations are even higher now! People gonna want to beat you more than ever =P I'm sure it'll be nothing but a slight breeze =) Well done man, respect and all that!

  21. More scores to keep CT going. Defender - 40,125 Pole Position - 48,990 R-Type Leo - 845,000 Smash TV - 4,510,100 Sunset Riders - 397,060 Toobin' - 2,023,891 Tron - 45,251
  22. Despite my best efforts, the Triggers are slipping. Super Hang On - 21,091,970 Sunset Riders - 393,020 Tetris - 157,919
  23. Yes, I did the R-L-R-R. It's a good pattern! I'm trying my best to stay 3rd, but the P-Team is tough. We're actually 109 pts down from first now. Different routes mean different stages. In Out Run you have 14 selectable stages. The best way as determined by many, start by going right, hit the mountains. Go left there, to the Dutch inspired Alpine stage. Going right there leads to the autumn like tree stage and then right once more ends up at the "d" goal.
  24. I shan't be left in the quickly forming dust! ExedExes - 502,900
