  1. Did you get my score above his?
  2. Been busy, but still playing.

You are one of our most loyal High score members :) Much appreciated Exes !

  3. Time to move & improve. ExedExes - 137,820
  4. I don't think we're in the NES port anymore -- that one was easier, and at least it had breaks in between the stages. ExedExes - 152,100
  5. Just to show all my time goofing around in the arcade on Shenmue (Dreamcast) didn't go to waste (you could play Space Harrier & Hang On there) ExedExes - 8,292,080
  6. Demon's World - 170,600 Monsters World - 706,130
  7. Might as well get on the board. ExedExes - 172,920
  8. Getting near the end. D&D - 58,110 Haunted Castle - 33,200 Monsters World - 536,070 Rampage - 102,050 Wonder Boy In Monster Land - 84,520
  9. Updates! Chiller - 1,949,900 Sinistar - 72,430 Nightmare In The Dark - 2,833,500 Monster Bash - 30,900 Wizard of Wor - 50,200
  10. The last 5 Demon's World - Used to play this on the old Ultracade cabs - 124,700 Monsters World - If you're gonna rip off Pang I guess this is a good way to do it - 481,440 Wonder Boy In Monster Land - Adventure Island platforming meets Dragon Buster - 37,290 Nightmare In The Dark - Warmed up to this one quickly! - 1,366,000 Monster Farm Jump - Great game. Reminds me of that one bonus stage in Pilotwings (SNES) - 496,310 QUESTION: I played the game on the Easy course and finished all 10 stages. The settings listed for this game however, mentioned it needed to be played in NORMAL mode? All of us have who have played so far submitted scores on Easy, it seems. Was that a setting just to make sure to play the NORMAL single player game, or the Normal course? If so, I'll play on that.
  11. 5 more Haunted Castle - This game doesn't fool around! - 26,500 Monster Bash - What a pleasant surprise, as far as how good it is - 26,600 Rampage - A classic, no home port can touch the original - 87,430 Ghosts 'N Goblins - Far easier than the infamous NES port - 58,200 D&D SOM - Played a lot of this just a couple months ago, actually - 51,900
  12. Here's my first 5 for now. Black Widow - Played this on an Atari PC compilation so I have a bit of experience. I did start on the first level! - 123,100 Chiller - I picked it, therefore I must know something about it - 372,085 Satan's Hollow - Absolutely difficult in parts, also in the movie Joysticks - 65,965 Sinistar - Name entry didn't work right because of game's original analog control screwing up, ended up using the mouse to play - 53,530 Wizard of Wor - Many good times with the Atari 2600 version, need to get the sound samples still - 35,500
  13. More hi-score activity than ever lately. Trying to keep up!

Tell me about it! Every time i refresh there's another one :o

    2. GimmeClassics
  14. At last, a reason to come back. B caps are good too ExedExes - 83,410 (note: my mouse speed was at 20, due to a new mouse I got between the scores I posted)
  15. I knew I was gonna be #2, but I thought it was gonna be down from #1. A bit too late! ExedExes - 564,700
  16. Now back for a limited time (not really) ME!

  17. Love my X-Arcade (Solo), the exclusive stick of choice for GameEx's High Score Competition. It was out of action until I found out you can get replacement PCB cables from them. I had USB communication issues until I replaced my PCB cables. Now I'm rocking the top spot over here!
  18. 100 points? C'mon man! Can't let that stand. ExedExes - 46,400
  19. I'm back! Someone should feel a bit murve-us.

  20. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and not playing a game in a while then revisiting it means you can even do better at it. ExedExes - 308,300
  21. 1943. I've been out of practice on this one. I much rather prefer (and do better at) the Japan-only 1943 Kai. Sounds like ol' M.O. will have this one beat in no time! ExedExes - 350,000
  22. Sorry to break the tech support party up in the middle of the high score thread, but I've got a score! Although, it already appears the pace has been set, and set rather high. I've looped the Atari 2600 and GBA versions of Gyruss, but not this one (yet). Here's a rather weak effort compared to our #1. ExedExes - 194,700
  23. There's been so much activity on this particular game, I decided to go back to it. Our new guy is right, plenty of ways to score high abound, especially when you know the right angles to bounce the balls at! After an afternoon with it, I'm ready to take back my top 2nd place position on this again. (edit: for now) ExedExes - 2,921,580
  24. It felt good to return to this again! Yes, doing what M.O. said to do in the first stage is very lucrative. First stage of the second loop? Not so much. I too had 6 lives, but also burned them all on Stage 9. Just made it to 10. ExedExes - 370,300
  25. Slight improvement. I realized that Stage 4 is great for points, because I had to keep going back to the beginning of it! ExedExes - 70,600
