Wouldn't all those gaps let a lot of dust in? Fancy bells and whistles, though.

Found this: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/sim/index.php I'll put it on me list... I'd never heard of them before

I too neither run nor indeed have heard of this emulator. However, it does win the prize for one of the most preposterously named emulator ever... Or one of the best, I can't decide... Almost as bad as "Cabsoles"

Dunno if I want it - only seems 2 minutes ago I toiled away to get Windows 8 up and running on my machines. All these buggers need to slow down and chill a little...

Horribly enjoyable indeed! Ended up staying for the whole show... one of the best kung-foo fight scenes I ever did see. Like the bastard son of Mortal Kombat and way of the dragon. And they got the Hoff to boot! Keep 'em coming.

No worries - will pick up tomorrow and try and find another way to break yer stuff.

Just bin the 'Charms.' Oh and 'Metro.' A desktop PC is a desktop PC and a Tablet a Tablet. Bit like trying to play a CD on a record deck.

Hard coded keys..... please fix
stigzler replied to karl10247's topic in SlingFront - SlingBox HTPC Front End
Dunno anything about Slingfront, but could you use AUtoHotKey to remap your keyboard inputs to the hardcoded keys? -
Yerp. This: Will knock it off and see what happens.. UPDATE: Well that was the problem! How random is that? It's never messed it up before. I would never recommend this hobby to anyone with high blood pressure; Type A personality or anything short of superhuman tenacity and patience. Fixed (for now...)

It's the latter - game from Emulator. However - on reflection via "full startup disabled" in settings - you know - the one where all intros etc disabled and starts at last screen you were in when GE closed - don't know if that makes any difference. All very weird - how come it was working fine before the update - thought the last GE update just dealt with some video and Mame stuff? Thanks once again for yer help. One day everything may just all come together without breaking...

Thanks Adultery, but think my head's already slowed down! So is it my end or something GE/QL related? Forgive me if I'm being thick...I'm maybe sensing a degree of diplomacy?

Sadly, Adultery, think it might be broken again! Could be my end, but since updating GameEx today, not working again - seems to often happen after a GE update. Replaced 4.1 with the test beta you gave me - still same problem. Logs attached. bat file and path fine. Potentially relevant bits: Does GameEx keep jiggling around or something? Don't know if any of you use Controller Remap. This is add-on GUI to hopefully cut out the need to delve into xml files. Should make the whole process a little easier. Basically, it solves the issue of when you swap USB devices and Mame looses the controls due to random enumeration. Screens: Video: Hope it helps someone.

Dammit - wish I'd found those system logos 6 weeks ago! This hobby need a bibliographer. Very nice work.

Whoa - is TriForce up and running now? Last time I looked here, all low compatibility: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Triforce Exciting if they are

Kinda seeing things slow down a bit recently in the emu/system builders scene. Recon everyone is eagerly awaiting GEEvo to kick-start creativity again..... So ,whilst twiddling these thumbs, got thinking about this. I wonder where retro/emu gaming and system building is going? Few things for me: OLED cab buttons - keep checking this one out, but sadly the hardware doesn't appear to be there yet. Idea being OLED films placed inside an arcade button to display image/text of the game function.... Xbox emulation.... I know there's some being developed and know it's very complicated, but maaaann, it's taking forever! PS3/X360.... and when i can afford the PC to run them.... DIY Starwars Yoke kits :) True emu netplay (my fave dream being the wipeouts via netplay Texture pack creators for PSX titles - can be done in N64, but looks virtually impossible in PSX. Love the idea of 'renovating' games. Maybe audio renovation to? Oh... and pneumatic arcade system builds - Space Harrier!!??and for FrontEnds (not a veiled feature request, I promise!) Voice activation Jarvis Style (tried out MageVoiceCommand, and whilst it's got vision, it's still a bit sticky). 3D - wander around a virtual arcade - Occulus, rift type support - lol Live streaming of others' games? So - who's taking number 7?

Have you tried a test installation of Dolphin (and a gamefile) on your system drive? Guess that'd eliminate the external HDD factor...
-
That's great vision + one that's gonna increase the scope/possibilities of GE no end. Great work.

Adultery, me old mucka, me ole bean - that very much did the trick And 8 months of toil and hair loss have just wonderfully come to fruition! Thanks for all yer toil.

Ah, no worries Adultery - sorry - wasn't being pedantic, although the beasts which we are attempting to tame unfortunately are! Sorry to keep breaking yer stuff! (although if yer anything like me, I love that feeling of squashing bugs )
