  1. 29th July, 2007 - GameEx 8.63 New GameLauncher mode feature. This feature completely changes the way the user interface works is controlled and displays. It puts GameEx into a simple game mode, with simpler menus, simpler navigation, sinply navigating through your available game lists. Many of the menus are disabled by turning on this setting, and only games lists are available. Navigation is much simpler with paging by pressing left or right, and button 1 and 2 navigate the available lists. Button3 launches game. Recommended for simple cab setups, where you want to lock things down or its for young children. It also supports low resolutions such as 320X240. Small screensaver stability fixes GameEx setup will now automatically detect old version of MDAC (Micrsoft data access components), and download and install latest version. This is for Windows 98 and Windows 2000.
  2. go to http://www.gameex.net yourll find it
  3. Ill be trying to stay in the chat room as much as possible today, if anyone wanted to come by. I paid for the chat room software, so I hope it gets some use. Cheers. Tom
  4. I think a lot of people have that concern, wherever you were to go. I would says though, there is a hell of a lot of ways to intereact with folks here, from finding a local pub, to joining a skydiving club Also, generally people are quite sociable here, so you would probably make a lot of friends just by getting a job.
  5. Its generally a nice country, most people are friendly. Its certainly not a cheap place to live though, very expensive. one of the most expensive in Europe. Altough it depends on what part of the country. The economy is doing well, shouldnt have a problem getting work etc. Yeah, so generally its a great place to live. I had the opporunity to move my life over to the states (philadelphi), with a great opportunity, but I decided to stay in the UK. Like I said though not cheap. The thing that bugs (inteligent) people most about imigration here (and theres MASSIVE imigration), is when folks dont integrate, but being American and speaking the lingo etc, should have no problem.
  6. Themes now on GameEx website, with upload facility. http://www.gameex.net
  7. It must be some kind of problem with the key. Please contact me by email. Thanks. Tom
  8. Also this will work: Click on special graphics (dont have to select something different). Then press TAB. Then press Space. That will Click "Save"
  9. If your running XP Pro you can can use remote desktop. Are you running XP Pro? If so ill tell you how to do it. Edit: Thats assuming your cab is networked.
  10. Install the ArcadeVGA quickres tool. Your ArcadeVGA card will run at 800X600 interlaced. Should be good enough to just setup the plugin.
  11. you can delete /DATA/data.mdb and reinstall gameex, but youll also lose your last played games, most played games and any favorites. Otherwise no unless you want to mess with the data.mdb with ms access.
  12. Sorry about that, should be ok now. Thanks for letting me know.

I can give you an account and your own areas, and you can help with the other areas too if you wanted too. Drop me an email to discuss it. By the way what I particularly like on your site is the commentary you had on the releases and news. Ihonestly loved reading that. Ill add the M logos.

  23. Thanks for letting me know. Its fixed in the latest.
  24. I agree completely. Its probably just a small driver bug. Heres the specifics: DirectDraw Display mode is reporting a refresh rate of 200hz. (Im uploading the release with the patch now)
  25. As I suspected I can see the problem. Its an issue with ArcadeVGA cards. The other post in the forum with the same issue is also running an ArcadeVGA card. i expect its buggy drivers, but the card is reporting that its running at a refresh rate of 200hz!!! I can patch this in GameEx easily, and will do so now, but do you want to try and see if you can get newer drivers from Ultimarc?
