  1. Very significant speed improvements to the MAME game list update. Especially the verify. You now only need to make 2 cups of tea rather than 10 now. Note that this may break the update for some older MAME versions. However I feel the trade off in performance is worth it. GameEx will now run from a UNC path. Fixes a few minor cosmetic issues introduced in the last release.

  4. This is fixed in 15.01 now available.
  5. Hi, Looks like the database for WinKawaks has not been worked on. Its just empty. However there should be a map file in C:\gameex\map files
  6. This is the right one. I moved it. You posted it in GameEx Evolution. No worries
  7. Here: https://www.gameex.info/forums/files/category/26-3d-models/~ PS: Please try to post in the correct forum. Cheers.
  8. Ill take a look. Maybe a bug introduced in the latest version.
  9. You need to tell MAME to rotate the game too. Add -rol or -ror to the MAME command line under MAME settings in the setup wizard.
  10. Introducing PinballX 2.50, GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition 15.00 Big updates for the season. These are mainly performance improvement related releases with general optimizations to key functions as well as rendering and the executable compiles. This should hopefully result in better FPS and speed improvements throughout although obviously it will be more noticeable on lower end machines. With GameEx several other areas have been improved for performance such as the Jukebox, loading Game Info, the Movie Library and getting Meta Data. In addition the YouTube feature is now working again and the Move Library has been improved significantly. Getting Meta Data for the movie library is now much quicker to and downloading music artist and album images is working again. I also made the decision to make the Media Library and DVD/BluRays on disk features free for all users and no longer a registered version feature. I am toying with the idea of releasing a sub version of GameEx without gaming features, purely as a free HTPC solution. Please let me know your thoughts on this. In preparation for the season I, and behalf of all of my loyal team and friends who work alongside me wish you all the best, happy thanksgiving, happy Hanukkah, Eid, Kwanzaa and Merry Christmas!. 12. It sounds like a bug I need to fix. I will look into it. Cheers. Tom.
  13. here were two versions of 15.00. The one you downloaded and are using. Then I uploaded a new version of 15.00 with the bug fixed. Understand? As version 15.00 was only released a couple of hours ago I just quickly fixed the bug after you reported it and uploaded a new version.
  14. Yes it is. What I am trying to tell you is I did an update to version 15.00. So you need to download and install it again please. Ill look at the original issue for the next release.
  15. Its working for me. It was only updated 20 minutes ago. Your still probably using the older version.
  16. Okay, good. Are you still getting the same original issue?
  17. Sorry about that. It was a big update today. Anyway all sorted now. Please do as Draco suggests.
  18. I did make some changes in the latest release that might have fix this. Please try it and let me know.
  19. Wow, awesome. You mind if I replace the one on Pinballx.com with this?

  22. I think it should just work like any other emulator although Ill admit I have never tried DosBox. I'm more of a retro console and arcade guy. I am sure plenty others have it working though.
  23. Please post your gameex log and ini
  24. Just try it already and contribute something.
  25. Don't know about the whole scababg and just talking about gameex but personally I prefer player 1 button 1 as select, p1 b2 as shift and p1 b3 as back. Joystick just directional and don't care about anything else but its useful to have a button as volume shift. For MAME you should find a controller config for IPAC and set it.
