Yes, if you don't like the matching you can turn it off. its an option. Otherwise make sure your media filenames match exactly.

Your log looks very strange. Not sure what is going on. Looks like your running two versions at the same time or there is an issue with your display adapter. What exactly did you configure or do? Did you delete the folder after uninstalling? Like I said, if your not happy you can contact me.

Okay, all sorted in 4.17 available in a minute. If at first you don't succeed try again!

I am going to work on this some more and see if I can get the GIF frames loading on a thread which will resolve most of the issues.

PS: Hang in there guys. Some people are going to be a bit short and frustrated with everything going on.

Looks like you have some media that cannot close and pinballx is hanging on that hence the waiting for threads. What media is displaying when you try and launch? Also check there are no dialog box showing in windows that could be halting things. PinballX is basically being blocked from shutting cetaing things down when trying to launch the table.

Hi, Please contact me directly regarding your purchase. Otherwise, I think you may have found a bug (which I can likely fix). It looks like your in an unusual view mode which may be causing a problem. If you not invested time setting things up please uninstall GameEx, delete the folder then install again.

It takes about a second to load it on my laptop (i7 8750h) but works fine. I would say that's not acceptable.

I have increased the limit to 100 frames in 4.16. Its kind of a limitation, sorry.

Yeah that GIF is 215 frames. Its too big. I put a limit of 70 frames so it does not use up too many resources. All the frames need to be loaded into direct3d surfaces so there is a limit.

It should be working. Not sure why. Can you post a log? Maybe its an issue with that particular file I expect. I did put a limitation on number of frames. I will look.

All internal front end images and wheel logos now support animated GIF files. Simply use a gif file instead of a png. This does not extend to table/game media (backglasses, playfield etc) other than wheel images. Enjoy!

GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition 16.31 released. Video recording of your games has been a feature in GameEx for some time. This release makes that feature more accesible with a specific dekstop utility in the start menu program group. New setting to check for existence of files in map files. Note: This is on by default so you may have to adjest this setting if updating some conigurations. Gamelauncher mode in GameEx Arcade Edition now has two modes same as regular GameEx, normal and MAME categories. A few small performance improvements. View the full article
