  1. Ever been at the right place at the right time? You know, maybe your walking down the street and find that 20 dollar bill on the ground. You know, it just happens occasionally. Typically during our past giveaways we wanted to know how great game-ex is or some other contribution driven event. Not this one. To win all you need to do is be at the right place at the right time. I have a few licenses every year to do what I see fit with and never have really taken advantage of it, Until now. First person to reply to this thread that needs a license will get it. Thats it, no magic. (pm me your email addy after posting) After that license is gone, the next users that want to get in on the action will have to simply post here why they feel they deserve it. The more creative the entry the better. It has been a hard year guys. New years day I will set up a poll and our users can vote for the best story. Poll will close (when I feel it has run its course, probably a couple days so most active users can see and vote) Poll winner gets the license. So come on guys, lets get this new year started already. Brian Hoffman EDIT: Ok, not many submissions, thread taken off course. Its the end of the new year over here and I see no point in dragging this on. fRequEnCy m4tr1x_br tthomas72 Please PM me your Email address so we can get you some licenses, m4tr1x_br, tthomas72 I see your new on the forum and first time posters. So be sure to tell your friends all about what drives your cab and where they can get the software. We look forward to helping you get your cabs or media centers up and running so your friends can not only enjoy it but want one of their own. Congratulations. Brian Hoffman
  2. Stub, I believe this is resolved. As far as I am concerned everything is "chill" I remember being anxious too when I ordered my reg way back when.
  3. I do think you will get it today. The system does not generate the licence keys. Keep us informed as the day goes on.
  4. Yes, many of us have registered version of Gameex. However Id like to point out that there is no separate version of gameex, a license key will unlock the additional features. So feel free to continue setting up gameex the way you want. Id also like to add that we are on the Christmas holiday and as you know things do get busy this time of year, dont worry. Also it could be that when you sent your donation Tom was sleeping, our visitors are all over the world. You should have got some type of email conformation from the site, I know it does ask for an email when registering. Email [email protected] and put Gameex Reg in the subject line. He will get you sorted out. Happy holidays and thank you for your contribution Brian Hoffman

  6. Cool, Ive been looking for a new game to put on my R4. Thanks!
  7. No fading in and out between menus? Hmmmmmm Nice update none the less.
  8. I had finals due, I turned them in on Sunday. It is Monday at 3:18 pm now. I will work on this more when I get home. I wish I had more time in the day. EDIT: The emulators are renamed, uploading to the download directory now. Next I will update the URLs on the spread sheet. Edit2: All emus are uploaded, spreadsheet emailed. Lets get this party started!
  9. Sheesh, if one more hour would have passed I was about to post 10.31. Talk about slow. LOL As always, great customer service. 3 versions in 3 days. F*ck the bandwidth.
  10. Tom, I'd like you to know that I really liked the feature, it added a bit extra for me. Hopefully in 10.34 you will bring it back with an option to enable and disable. It worked very well on my system. Thanks for all your hard work. On a side note I have just finished uploading the re-zipped emulators and am awaiting Bens response to an email. Testing should be starting soon. Brian Hoffman
  11. Guys, regressions (if you want to call it that) happen. Tom will fix this, or add an option to disable. Generally speaking we do not post older versions of Gameex here. If developers took the stance of (just go back to an older version) there would be less incentive to fix issues on current builds. Gameex has come a long way in the years that I have been a member, we are always looking forward, never back. Now I realize you guys are upset, please understand things happen, usually updates go really well, and are very well received. I wouldn't let this sour your feeling on auto updating, as far as keeping old versions is concerned, to each thier own. Personally I keep them. I have 10.31 and I feel like if I upload it, Tom will just have a fix for it tomorrow anyways so there may not be any point. Lets not get too excited here, MAME breaks things all the time. I'm sure this will be sorted soon Brian Hoffman
  12. There goes the neighbor hood!
  13. Are you using a tiny xp build or other non retail version of XP? I know you said you have the dot net frame work and dx 9. You can be missing other framework or runtimes if using one of these builds. Can you elaborate a little more regarding your windows version?
  14. Use an old versoin of mame, a version from about the time your hardware was still new. Even old games in newer versions of mame will tax your hardware in ways you may not realize. www.mamedev.org old releases, left hand side. Try running mame .96 It sounds like a resource problem to me. BH
  15. I use SSF, you need to use deamontools and mount the disc prior to starting the emulator, the emulator does not support loading images. Emulation is very good, much more compatible than yabause
  16. Why do I get the feeling I'm being baited?
  17. Email [email protected] Put Gameex in the subject line. He will have to send you a new key, usually that only affect OLD keys and upgrading to a 64bit OS Looking at your start date thats probably the case.
  18. Its about time that video was updated. Looks good, and I think your right about it loading faster. Or at least the content seems more organized.
  19. Spreadsheet filled out and email sent. That was a bit of fun. I'd like when things settle a bit to add a few more emus to that list. Project tempest for jaguar, Makaron for Naomi and dreamcast, Nulldc for Naomi, Demul for Atomiswave, naomi,naomi2,dreamcast. Vivvanonno for some sega games, no$gba for gameboy advance and NDS emulation, Dolphin for Wii and a handfull of others. Again Im in no hurry to add these in now and no doubt there are more, but eventually I can see this becoming pretty comprehensive. Im glad you are impressed, its about time I pull some weight, I felt I was slacking a little. This now seems to be coming together nicely. I will work on this more tommorow. Brian Hoffman
  20. I uploaded the spreadsheet, almost done, I worked on it quite a bit. I edited the configs on some of the emulators slightly. So thats why I suggested trying my configs with the uploaded content. You will find the spreadsheet in your email. Any feedback is appreciated, I want to meet your dead line. If I can work on it over the next few days like I have been able to , this should be done soon.
  21. Cool deal, Tom is usually pretty quick. Take care. Brian Hoffman
  22. How does your wife feel about that?
  23. Yea, we have a hand-full of repeat offenders. There are also some new faces. Glad to see your back.
  24. Thanks for your support, you will be happy with all the new features.
  25. [email protected] Put Gameex in the subject line so his spam filter doesn't ignore it.
