  1. I was browsing ETA Prime's channel yesterday and ran across this. I had to immediately try it out and it is fantastic. I used Destruction Derby 2 as my test game. I have never seen it look so good! This is definitely worth a look if you love PS1 games. I haven't been this excited about PS1 since I started using my PSP as a Playstation back in '10. https://github.com/stenzek/duckstation https://github.com/stenzek/duckstation/releases/tag/latest
  2. As of this posting all 3 versions are $30 off and the Atari spinner is $10 off.
  3. Quoted for truth!
  4. You got 'botted. There's a group of resellers - ONE group of resellers - that has at least 3500 consoles put aside to scalp. They used pre-orders and bot software to flood the checkout on websites so there's almost no way you can actually cash out before they do.
  5. It's at $8,500 USD right now. Wow. I thought it was a joke at first. https://www.shopbeergear.com/products/bl6-the-coolest-cooler-ever
  6. Apparently they announced this yesterday. They can't stay afloat because of the pandemic. They're selling everything (pinball machines, arcade games, consoles and other assets). https://replayfoundation.org/2020-announcement/
  7. Personally I would get a new one. I had zero interest in pulling my Tankstick from my fully working, fully set up, it's the way I want it, DON'T F**K WITH THAT OR YOU WILL PAY arcade cabinet. The Atari stick is a nice stick. I haven't had much time to mess around with it but I like it almost as much as my Tankstick.

  9. I ordered the Twinstick version and a spinner. I'm on vacation right now so I won't be able to play with it until next week. Love the look and was $99 on special. Spinner was still $50. They didn't charge me tax though. Weird but I'll take it.
  10. Hopefully you don't mind a link to another forum but a user on AtariAge did a great job with his tankstick and the spinner mod a few years ago. I, sadly, STILL haven't gotten around to it yet. https://atariage.com/forums/topic/198308-x-arcade-mod-with-spinners/
  11. Imagine being the poor guy that sneezed about 100 hours into setting this up...

  13. Add it to your account for free on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/242700/Injustice_Gods_Among_Us_Ultimate_Edition/ Apparently it is also free on PS4 and XBox.

  14. Beat me to it! It is the entire trilogy now if it wasn't before. https://www.gog.com/game/forgotten_realms_the_archives_collection_one
  15. Heh I JUST watched this video like 20 minutes ago. (I do love me some LTT.) Hell just ask yourself this - not 5-6 years ago you couldn't get an SD card larger than 16GB. Most were 1, 2 or 4GB and you had to order anything larger unless the PC store near you carried them. Now you can't find anything LESS than 16GB at retail. Technology is advancing so fast. I love it but I am always worried I'm going to fall behind and start showing my age.
  16. Love free games

  19. I did catch this before it expired thanks tthurman. :)
  20. So I bought the Kaico adapter and I do love it! It looks excellent on the Sanyo 720p LCD television in my gaming setup. Thanks for the recommendation! I also took a leap and bought a Tendak HDMI upscaler. I bought this particular model since it had a 480 mode that I didn't see on some of the other converters. I'm happy I took the chance. This also looks great on my LCD! Now I have this Frankenstein build behind my desk with everything older going into an RCA switchbox into the HDMI converter then out to the HDMI switcher then to the tv. I expected interference from all those bridges but it looks awesome to me!
  21. I bought this one. It's in my hands. I'll try it this week when I get a second.
  22. @RIP-Felix - I just took the easy way out and bought a GDEMU-installed system with the fan, fuse, 12v rail and battery mods already done. This is fabulous! I was thinking about just getting a Pound HDMI Link Cable for modern TV connection. Any experience with those? Just curious. @RazorX - I just downloaded your theme manager and will be trying that later. Thanks in advance.
  23. Who's the drunk reporter??? Yeah that is exactly what I wanted to do at PC2002. Just didn't have enough time to put it together ... then Dave sold the show. Still irritates me to this day. Thanks for the video!
  24. I imagine this is what PhillyClassic could have been if it had not been sold. I wanted to do (and STILL want to do) the 80's living room. I never got the chance though. "The 80's Experience" with a real boombox playing a mix tape on auto-reverse, console tv connected to an Atari, shag rug, poor illumination, floral print couches (maybe with plastic on them!), the god-awful 70's sunburst clock on the wall, the whole 9 yards! Looks like they got it just right.
