So I added a game to my Atari 2600 list but I forgot and had originally set "Hide Update List" to YES and set my filter to only show ".a26" files so I needed to make a couple of simple adjustments. So I went in and set "Hide Update List" to NO and made the rom filter ".a26, .bin". Simple right? Well I realized I like to use my scrolling mouse but that changes settings if the cursor is over a setting ... so I have no clue what I changed. Loading GameEx now makes it go directly to my Atari 7800 game list which I think is EMU_2, there's no longer a menu at the top and I cannot back out (hitting BACK loads the exact same screen). It's like Atari 7800 is all that exists and it goes right for it. I'm just hoping it's something simple I am missing and I don't have to reinstall. GameEx.ini log.txt

All here as well. Gaming PC, gaming laptop, tablet laptop, arcade cabinet (all 3 use XBox Gamepass, Epic Store, Steam, EverQuest), PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, XBox One, XBox 360, Nintendo Switch, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii U, 3x Raspberry Pi setups, 2x PS Classic modded setups, Sony PSP, Nintendo DSi, N64, iPad Funny thing is they all get use at one point or another. Granted some may go months without being touched (basement setups especially in the winter do not get use - no heat down there) but I can honestly say that everything gets used at some point throughout the year.

So Intellivision Lives! on the DS sucks huh? Bad aspect ratio, poor to non-existent collision detection, controls are all wonky. I - like many, MANY people - am extremely disappointed with that title. If you're one of those people and just happen to own a jailbroken DSi then check out the Nintellivision emulator. I just went ahead and upgraded my DS Lite to a DSi to make sure everything runs at full speed. Cloudy Mountain and Tarmin run perfectly!! Actually almost everything does but I wanted those 2 games specifically out of the Intellivision Lives! cartridge and I am disappointed no more. Portable AD&D Tarmin. Yeah baby!

Space Invaders nod at 4:30 - very nice! I'm not a shooter fan but I know a lot of people are and this would go over nicely with them. Well done! -

NECRO BUMP. I found it. I can't believe I found it. On ONE site. On the entire Interwebs! Finally! If anyone here is running DOSBox for multiple games I highly recommend you check this out. I found the file here: https://winworldpc.com/product/pfs-preface/100 and managed to mount the floppy image using the instructions here: https://dosbox-x.com/wiki/Guide%3AManaging-image-files-in-DOSBox‐X#_mounting_diskette_images to install it. I am so happy I came across this after all this time. Sorry for the 6 year bump but I'm just having geeky nostalgia overload and needed to share.

I'm probably doing myself a disservice but I never played beyond the tutorial. I had Skyrim first for my Switch so upon booting BotW - almost right off the bat - I was thinking "the controls aren't organic and the game doesn't feel right". It's because I kept expecting Skyrim controls and mechanics. I made a conscious effort to get past it but I just could not. I have tried at least twice more to get into the game but I just can't. This is a game I probably won't ever play. Sad, but true since it still is considered one of the best games for the console and has great reviews.

I'd also recommend you scan the HDD for errors. If you have corrupted files then something caused it. There may be damage to the HDD sectors themselves - ie bad blocks. Just be thorough with the hardware before you fix the software and have it "break" again due to writing to a faulty sector.

I was going to do that but I already had 2 PlayStation Classic systems in the house that were running BleemSync at the time. Seemed like a waste. I wouldn't mind one now but I have so many ways to play already including a Pi in a RetroFlag MegaPi case! For what these systems were though this was the best one of the bunch for "out of the box" users hands down!

I found GameEx in 2011 when I really started to work on my emulation setups. I tried a few but came back to GameEx because it is just easy to set up, has a ton of configuration and theme options, it looks beautiful, the system it is fronting looks very professional... and, most importantly, it works! Over the years I have checked out other programs but lost interest. They were too complicated, not enough features or too spartan looking. I always keep GameEx. The community is fabulous and the support is top notch. I use it so much I bought 2 lifetime licenses. Recommend it? Often and to whomever will listen.

Yet another reason I MUST win the lottery!

Yeah... I went ahead and pre-ordered a 512GB. I couldn't resist. My wife said "Merry Christmas AND Happy Birthday. That's what you get." .... WELL OK!

Just my $0.02 but - I REALLY wanted to like it. I have loved every Mario Golf game released so far (except Golf on the NES which may or may not feature Mario). I pre-ordered 2 copies to be delivered on release day so I could play against my best friend ASAP... Meh. This feels like "The Adventures of Link" did when called a sequel to Legend of Zelda. This is a golf game but it's not Mario Golf. You can't convince me it is regardless of the title. It doesn't FEEL or PLAY like it. Generic golf game? 5/10. MARIO Golf? 2/10. Thanks again Nintendo.

I like it. I will be watching this one develop.

That's a great looking build! I like the size and the duality of it. What are the specs inside? As you're well aware emulation doesn't need much so older parts are great for this kind of recycle project. I have about 1/2 dozen 1st/2nd Gen Intel towers I've inherited or upgraded out of that will be getting a cheap SSD drive in each ... then turned into emulation systems. (SSD has to be the easiest way to speed up an old system and they're very affordable now.) Oh, and let me know when to send you my address so you can send me my new Pinball Arcade Classics setup.

I have been using one of these for years. In fact I just bought a second one for the basement because I like it so much. My Genesis, 3DO and N64 all run through it and I like it! Tendak 3RCA AV CVBS Composite & S-Video R/L Audio to HDMI Converter Adapter Support 720P/1080P with 3RCA S-Video Cable for NES SNES N64 PS2 PS3 HDTV I have been keeping an eye on the RetroTink stuff though. If I can afford to throw $300 at something it would be one of his projects.

I finally FINALLY got around to "finishing" my Gamecube setup this morning. I added the last NES and SNES emulators, roms and screenshots to the system. I'm actually very happy with this setup. Easy mods and add-ons and it does A LOT. SWISS fully supports the installed GCLoader board so everything works perfectly. I have a nice one-stop shop for all things Nintendo! Well, through Gamecube anyway. It plays NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance and Gamecube games all via HDMI. So kewl! */nerd* Looks right at home between the modded Wii U and Dreamcast systems. Mind you I purchased the actual hardware back in October before some prices skyrocketed so the prices listed are what I paid. I have: - Gamecube DOL-001 Black - $100 - Gameboy Player add-on - included - 2x Memory cards - included - 2x Wavebird controllers - $75 each (Glad I had the cash at the time! Expensive but worth it.) - GCLoader ODE - $135 (eBay - still impossible to get one from Black Dog directly) - SD2SP2 board - $2 - 2x 128GB Micro SD cards - On hand - EON GCHD MK-II HDMI adapter - $150 - GBA Everdrive x5 - $95 - 3D printed SD card mount - $25

These are still going 9 years strong in my arcade cabinet! (Closest/most similar model I could find to what I've had.) https://smile.amazon.com/Cyber-Acoustics-Subwoofer-Speaker-System/dp/B00006B9W1 I'd like to check these out though - wonder how they sound: https://smile.amazon.com/Cyber-Acoustics-Stereo-Speaker-Subwoofer/dp/B0145MVJUS CA's have just been good to me. -
I had no idea this emulator was still being actively developed. Damn! https://fms.komkon.org/ColEm/

I enjoy watching these even if the information isn't new. They're still entertaining and there's usually a nugget you never heard before.
