ah thats right i forgot about that always show option!yes he should be all set,i remember when i first started with gameex,i couldnt for the life of me figure out why it wouldnt launch daemon and it was cause of a space LOL @Draco could you edit that post im talking about?the OP has it listed as daemon tools freeware,but the CL that is there is not correct.and most (if not all) ppl use the free version of daemon,which is daemon tools lite.only reason im am bringing it up is to avoid unnecessary posts in the future

@griggs,just so you know,if I use gameex in window mode I dont see daemon launching,but I know it works OT:I had the same results with jojo as well,no lag.Me thinks its time to delete cps3 emulator. Adultery,will you try launching a saturn game with gameex in windowed mode and see if you see daemon launching?

I do know that if there are spaces where there shouldnt be daemon will not work.when i first started with gameex i couldnt get ssf to work correctly it was driving me insane come to find out it was a space in tht CL that didnt belong OFF TOPIC @adultery how does SF3 run in mame for you?just wondering if its time to say adios to the cps3 emulator

Hmm wasnt expecting that you actually have a (x86) folder...LOL.do this,do you use the setup wizard or the advanced config? why not just install daemon to your program files folder?thats where i have mine installed,all im doing is giving you my command line that i currently use

Custom lists.when i had a custom list of nintendo arcade games they appeared under their own tab,like mame original games and such,but they were in my favorites list as well

MAME romset 0141---->26.1gb MAME chdset 0141---->125.93gb (this is without the Laserdisc CHD's that do not run anyway,they are another 76.82gb)

I have all filters off,and I want clones is on so is gimme porn & gimme mahjong,yet I only get 9960 games in gameex.when using mameui141u2 I get 10,243 games.not a big deal,but I thought I would mention it to avoid problems in the future

interesting,when launching from windowed gameex the game gets focus just fine

you know what it is.same as the other day when we tried using the runitgame.bat file,and while that does put a temp fix on the problem,it always comes back.yes it is the integrated zinc emulator. I use aldo's FE to set up zinc,as it sets the paths and controllers.

ok,here is the classic "it runs outside of gameex" problem.I have zinc running perfectly,yet when I launch it through gameex the game launches,but I get a black screen i can hear the game running in the background.I cant wait until mame runs all zinc games pefectly,so i can uninstall and delete zinc forever.I have never,EVER had more issues with a emulator other then zinc.

have you tried using aldo's FE,just to set the controllers\paths?I use that and I use zinc with 2 controllers setup pefectly I see that you are using aldo's FE.I have set my controls for zinc once,and once only and they work everytime i use it.

What exactly does this do?My 2600 set is a goodset that is already merged.Would I use this feature if I had a set that isnt merged,and it would merge it for me?

This video was shown in my 2600 games list,but it is not a video of boxing for the 2600.the game boxing for the 2600 featured two boxers from a top down view,and one boxer was white and the other black.this game looks a little advanced for the 2600,although I have been mistaken before on what is possible on the 2600.you cant tell from the still pic,but the boxers in this game were able to move around the ring freely,and were able to punch to either the body or the head,and able to guard the head or body. the game named "boxing" by activision for the 2600 was far inferior to this game
