I've been struggling with the 270 degree rotation that I had set in PinballX. It was working fine for pinball, but gave me problems with MAME. For instance when I try to record MAME gameplay, the video capture looks good, but then PinballX rotates it again on playback and its now oriented wrong. If I set my main monitor to portrait mode and disable all rotations in PinballX, MAME works great and the playback videos are all good. However, when I go back to the pinball side, all the tables are messed up.
How can I deal with this in a sane way? Ideally, I'd like to have the option to tell PinballX to rotate my screen based on system selection, but it only has one setting currently.
I've heard some people use the load before/after feature to run multimonitortool to change orientation. Is this a viable option?
