  1. Yeah I apologize for that, but it turns out my new job is awfully demanding, not to mention I spend an hour driving each way. I will be able to set up VPN access this week though, so I'll be able to do a bit from home, which should free up some of my schedule hopefully. Next week will be easy with an extra day of for the holiday, but the week after that is another mandatory overtime weekend. I have a feeling I'll start really hating php in the end. Lol! Anyways, I'm still in and out, just not as active as I would like to be. And for that I apologize.
  2. Ahh, update to Xpadder plugin today. Good times. :)

Your work is so nicely done, really appreciate it Adultery.

  3. Minor update to 1.2.1: Bug fix for Attract Mode profileAdded some additional loggingA couple more visual updatesA minor code fix in the plugin (not critical, just redundant code)I wouldn't have even put it out but the Attract Mode profile wasn't working as expected before (it was loading emu profiles over the attract mode profile), but it is now.
  4. Glad I could help, and thanks for your patience. :-)
  5. Well, it's time for an update... Version 1.2.0 Released! Added a lookup for emulators that share similar namings using the Emulator Number in GameExThis will break compatibility with old versions of the plugin, all emulators will need this attribute no matter if they are duplicates or not (sorry, it's honestly for the best. I promise!)You're going to have to go through your xml and either add the "num" attribute to that emulator like so:<Nintendo_SNES num="3">The "3" is the Emulator Number given by GameEx.If you don't know your emulator number, it's the number in the Settings Wizard pull-down for Emulator Setup. If you don't have a ton of emulator or game profiles, you can simply start over freshAdded a profile mode for "Attract Mode"Basically this profile will be called when GameEx enters Attract ModeOn my machine, I have F5 mapped to "Select" and "Esc" mapped to "Start", and then I use a shift key to revert "Select" back to coin in and "Start" back to 1P Start. This way I can play games inside Attract Mode as is the original GameEx functionality instead of Xpadder resting.Added some additional information to the configuration screen's drop down menuThe list now shows like so: Emulator Name [GameBase If Applicable] [Emulator Number]Here's an example of how games are displayed: Arcadia 2001 [GameBase] [#500] Sega CD [#27]This should assist in identifying which emulator in your setup you are editing, which is specifically useful if you have several emulators where the text is the sameAdded icons to the Edit Xpadder Profile and Browse For Xpadder Profile buttons/minor graphical tweaksSome code improvements to speed up loading and browsing So as I said up there, this is gonna require either some adapting your XML or creating it from scratch. I always prefer the 2nd option, but I realize that doesn't work for some of you with a lot of game specific profiles. If you are going to attempt going at it, I'll be more than happy to help you along. I would prefer the users get on this before I ask Tom to pack it in, because profiles will not load anymore for users on the old system. It just has to be that way, I'm sorry... I put this off for a long time because of this, but it's popping up in places unfortunately. Call it bad planning on my part, I dodn't see this as a problem when I initially put this plugin together or I would have coded around it. Hopefully y'all aren't too pissed with me, and accept my sincere apologies. Download details are in the usual place.
  6. Any other improvements you would like to see when I'm in there? I wouldn't mind circling back and having a look at the code if you can think of any other useful enchancements.... It'll be nice to take a break from Moodle.
  7. It helps a lot actually, I already have an idea how to go about fixing this. If I get a little time this weekend, I'll put out an update. I appreciate it buddy.
  8. Isn't that like $70 USD roughly?
  9. Dolphin has always progressed nicely imho... I wish more open.source emulators would follow suit.
  10. It's always worked just fine for me anyway.... And that sucks about them drypoint the api, but I completely understand why they're doing it... /me ducks
  11. You should ask for some vicodin and make a weekend out of it. Lol!
  12. Noice! I'm still trying to find time to finish Shovel Knight though... Finally got a weekend off, gonna do some gaming for sure!
  13. Ohh man I would really dig some light guns.... I would love to get a few rounds of Operation Wolf/Lethal Enforcers in... Ohhh or T2....
  14. If you have the cmd in there you shouldn't need any kind of mount/unmount commands. Open and close the plugin configuration... I suppose it still needs the file, but you don't need to do any configuring.
  15. Heya. So... You shouldn't need to set any configuration in the plugin at all. Go ahead and remove any commands you entered for mount and unmount for that emulator. Matter of fact, delete the settings.xml and start over. Then, in your Plugin Manager, make sure you check the box next to Virtual Drive Loader. Finally, in your emulator's command-line path in GameEx, type this: ssf.exe [DTLOADER] Or if it's an SCSI, type [DTLOADER-SCSI] The mount and unmount commands in the configuration are completely optional, the plugin will know what commands to send/what to do (ie "Headless mode") EDIT: Oh, by the log it seems to be working... Idk...
  16. Try this. Enable my plugin that Drac pointed at earlier. Remove the dtools commands from your emu setup's Launch Before/Launch After/Also Launch. Change the emu command-line to this in SSF: ssf.exe [dtloader] Run any game. Play. Enjoy.

    1. Does out run from command-line parse of GameEx? 2. Are your roms really in 7-zips? 3. Are there really sub-folders that your roms are in? 4. What version is your pce.exe? 5. Did you try and set your rom filter to match the game inside the zip? My money is on the games in 7-zip option...
  18. Want my opinion? It works already, don't kill it. Ask the dude if he knows where to get a carcass, hate to see a working cab get killed. If totally pay the $300 and keep it the way it is if I had the scratch. /my 2c

    Log file? Settings.ini?
  20. VMWare is my choice. I use it in the field and at home.
  21. Ahh You Don't Know Jack.. Good times..
  22. Do it! That'll make the kickbacks for us worker bees bigger! Lol! JK of course...
  23. For MAME: TMNT, TMNT 2, X-men, The Simpsons, Sunset Riders, Metal Slug, Mortal Kombat, SF, Killer Instinct, Golden Tee, Shuuz... just to name a few of my faves. There are quite more but I'll have to think about it. If you use MAME integrated features in GameEx, there's a 4-player simultanious category.
  24. Don't you have to add each game manually? I'm sure as a seasoned GX user he knows it doesnt come with roms.
